Good morning House. My Husband, an American citizen filed for a Cr1 spousal visa for me in May 2023 but our case is still showing actively reviewed by USCIS only. So I got free time now, and I filed for a Tourist visa of which they have sent me a mail to schedule a date for my interview. Please any Nigerians in the house with same experience?

Wow! Congratulations. We are yet to be approved by the USCIS, our case is still pending... we don't even know when we will likely hear back from the USCIS, then go through NVC and others...

Can I apply via DCF in Nigeria, if I already applied online via USCIS. Spousal visa to be precise. Thank you

We used the road address as the street address, I just moved in here few months ago. I thought the road address was the street address, and we already used it on our marriage certificate and my national birth certificate. So we thought it wise to use it for the I-130 case file. But We don't know if it might be a redflag on our case

Alright, thank you. We were concerned that they might send me a mail and I won't receive it because of the wrong address used.

It takes up to a year before USCIS approves it and send it to the NVC??

Our I-130 online form now says that it's being reviewed by USCIS, but that nothing is outstanding for now 😒. Is it a normal thing for them to say that they are currently reviewing my case but that nothing is outstanding for now?

What is to be done next if uscis approve form I-130? Is my husband going to send them his current account balance while doing the affidavit of support? Or is he only going to send them his annual salary 🤔

Yes, he got the receipt the same day. Just that our case status is still showing Unavailable. Greetings

My Husband also submitted mine on 14th May 2023, we got our receipt no the same day but we are yet to be in active review. We are hoping to get a positive feedback soon. We got married on the 9th of February
