    I have never heard DMV requiring a marriage certificate. I am also an immigrant and I came here in the US July 2023 under I-130 visa, I applied my DL here in California and it went smoothly without needing to provide a MC. You also can't marry again here in the US since you are already legally married in Nicaragua, I would suggest to go again to the DMV and try again.

    Thank you guys for all the help! Im already in the states since last year of July. Got my us visa after correcting the issue on my NBI.
