  1. my statement of reason along with supporting documents and evidence was around 100 pages. I have submitted All the supporting documents to DOS and USCIS
  2. It is the final stage and you will hear from them very soon. I was going insane after the sponsor view request, checking my DOS page multiple times a day, including in the middle of the night. BTW, I am a self filer and you can see. I would never ever pay a lawyer for something I could do myself. I adjusted my status myself too. Zero lawyers involved. Good luck and keeps us all posted.
  3. This is absolutely not true. I have myself received a waiver based on my child's medical condition and the sponsor views were requested and received. Did the sponsors opinion matter? Probably not. But were they requested? Yes. Btw, I am a former Fulbright scholar. I just received my green card and wish you all the same. I can provide my timeline if anyone has any doubts
  4. It can be a US citizen spouse. But it has to be an exceptional hardship vs plain discomfort.
  5. I filed my case with USCIS on October, 2021. And you can see my timeline when the form 612-613 was forwarded to DOS.
  6. I didn't try to expedite. Because I know that expedition is not really going to work unless you have a really serious humanitarian reason for expedition. I filed my cased based on my US born child. I wasn't married to US citizen when I filed. The case was solely based on my child.
  7. Hey Guys I got my J1 Hardship Waiver. I was US Government sponsored and self filed.
