  1. Hi Sarge2155 Thanks for responding - I currently live in the UK
  2. Yep I had a look at the Visa and it definitely does not contain that information
  3. Thanks Dashnika I will definitely do that. Thanks again for your help
  4. Yep it's a large envelope with soft cardboard like cover at the back
  5. I also emailed the embassy a few minutes ago, hopefully they get back to me.
  6. I had a look and theres nothing of that nature written on the passport - I want to believe that the envelope I have which say do not bend is the one I should take to the US with me, my only worry is the envelope does not match the information written on the embassy's website
  7. Hi Dashinka Thanks for responding, the plastic had my passport in it and an envelope however the envelope have do not bend written on it, it does not state do not open or anything else Hi Dashinka Thanks for responding, the plastic had my passport in it and an envelope however the envelope have do not bend written on it, it does not state do not open or anything else
  8. I recieved my k1 Visa package today, it was wrapped in a grey plastic which had my passport and a large light brown envelope in it (on the envelop had the words do not bend written on it). I've been reading online and noted that most people says that they receive their passport with a white envelope (on the envelope is written do not open); however the package I recieved was nothing like that, my passport has the Visa stamp in it however the envelope does not have my name written on it nor does it have do not open. Is this common, has anyone recieved their package like this, I am a bit worried as my envelope does not have my name on it nor does it say do not open. I am currently living in the UK hoping to move to the states in a few weeks Thanks
  9. I dont think it would be an issue, I had a similar experience however I took the letter to my interview with the most recent bank statement from my finance showing his bank balance and his tax transcript and the person at the embassy only asked me for his tax transcript and along with the filled out affidavit of support form.
  10. Hi cat Thanks for removing any duplicate, please accept my apology as I wasnt aware it had posted twice
  11. Hi I recently booked my k1 Visa appointment and was sent an email confirmation along with documents required on the day. One of the documents requirement were Valid passports and All previous passports, especially those that show any international trips or previously issued visas to the United States" I have a valid passport however, I dont have hold of my previously expired passport ad I never thought that I would ever need they (but I was wrong). My expired passports dont hold any US Visa but I have used them when travelling to the US and Japan a few years ago. Have anyone come across this, were you able to proceed with previous expired passports Any help appreciated- thanks
  12. I thought my dad not being listed on my birth certificate was the issue but after reading that site I realised that I have the old style birth certificate and since I was born they have now upgraded to a newer format. Just when I thought my problems were just problems, now they are extra Thanks again, I appreciate your help
  13. Many thanks for responding, I was very worried because reading the information on the site, it stated both parents need to be listed on certificate. Thx
  14.
