Are official tax returns necessary for i751 package??

Hi guys!! I am getting ready to send my i751 package as my green card expires in january. I am concerned because my husband has not filed 2021 and 2022 taxes and now is getting ready to do so. My question is, could we submit like a PDF of the submission itself or should we wait and get an official transcript from the IRS? Getting it may take up to a month i have heard and dont really want to risk it. Thank you for your help
