  3. Well it used to be 3 years of taxes... now it's usually just one but your best bet is to contact the Embassy you'll be dealing with to find out exactly what they will request of you. Each one is different.

It's ok to put the tax stuff together now but you should wait for the rest of the supporting documents (letter from employer...paystubs..etc) until after you've received your NOA2.

    good luck

i guess my question is still do i need to request a copy from the irs or will the copy i filed with turbo tax be sufficient

The copy you filed with turbo tax will be fine (that's what I did), but you will also need to send copies of your W-2's.

got it thanks a bunch every one

  7. just some questions about the affidavit of support

my income should be sufficient i make anywhere from 40 to 90 thousand a yr depending on how hard i work and how much i want to travel

After my divorce mainly as a result of it because i was fighting for my kids

i had 2 homes go into foreclosure and my credit was destroyed

will this affect me as far as the aos or is my credit even subject to scrutiny

should i be preparing to seek a cosponsor

what are some other typical things they ask for as far as affidavit of support should i bring info on my pension plan my 401 a my health benefits package etc

or is all that over kill

other than my 401 a and pension i have no savings

    any guidance is appreciated

    thanks

    Peter

also what are some other things they might request so that i may be prepared

  9. Was March the recording date because that is when it was considered 'final'? Many places have a waiting period before the divorce/annullment is considered 'final'. If that's the case, i'd leave the March date. If you know for sure it was 'final' in January then i'd change it. Someone from the Philippines could probably help you more.

    good luck

well on the marriage certificate it is typed on the side that the marriage is null and void it says jpursuant to the decision jan23rd in the decree of finality it says february 10 th and the recorded stamp is mar 7th????

  10. The check is made out to the "Department of Homeland Security".

All the info you need is in the guides as well as the instructions for the I129f you find on the USCIS website.

ok heres what ive included copies of birth certificates also my passport just in case divorce decrees anullment papers for both of us g-325a's for both with passport photo's attached photo's of my visit to the philippines with her and her family 4 email conversations including a list of emails going back to when we first met yahoo messenger chats 4 from then to now

receipt copies of my visit there copies of boarding passes letters of intent additional letter for question 18 cover letter ive put cover sheets on each type of evidence with a message more available upon request and bulked that into evidence of ongoing relationship on her g-325a she marked other and put k-1 visa i scratched out and put submitted with I-129F petition also included a separate page for I-129F question 13 part B to fit all info for her daughter and also copied all the calling cards i've used to call her i have no actual phone records other than that plus a couple letters we have exchanged

    Did I Miss ANYTHING!!!!!!

Ongoing relationship evidence as well as evidence that does not prove a face to face meeting within the last two years is NOT required. This information includes e-mails, call records, letters, etc... You can save yourself some time and the USCIS some effort by not including this.

but would it not make things easier if they have the info there and possibly reduce the chances of rfe

  12. Ok i am about there ive dbl and trpl checked and everything looks good just a couple questions that are yet unanswered

Do my fiancee's anullment papers serve as proof of a name change or is there something else she needs i do have a copy of her birth certificate i am contemplating adding that to the packet....... 2nd do i just make the chack payable to uscis... 3rd is it ok for the sake of filing the i-129f to just send photo copies of my birth certificate and divorce decree as long as i retain the originals if called upon later....thanks for your input all i would like to file today so any answers are appreciated

  13. I know sometimes my questions might seem a bit ignorant but heres another i met my fiance thru a website filipinaheart.com we only exchanged a few emails there and moved our relationship to yahoo messenger yes i have been to see her already just got back last week fh is a dating site do i list them as a marriage broker and do i only need to put down any contact info for them or is there more i need to do or do i simply leave it as met on the internet sending inmy packet in the next day or 2 so i want to make sure everything is as right as can be thanks for any input

  14. i asked this question once before and got several answers

i work for a local union they match me with contractors each contractor takes out taxes pays into my pension etc

but in any given year i can work for a multitude of different contractors my union does track my pay scale and who ive worked for do i put them as my employer and attach a letter of explanation or do i have to list each individual contractor

  15. im still a little lost on the k-2 i do not see a guide related to it maybe i just havent read enough the only advice ive been given is to list the child on the i129f which she is listed lol i fear my impatience may doom me so i am trying to be as patient as possible its just not my strongest point i have yet to file but have all the documents i need short of getting certified copies to my fiance which i figure there is time for that well any further help on the k2 is appreciated i was also told on here because i am unsure what to put for the birth certificate number on the i129f to leave it blank i do have a copy of it that i will be submitting so should i leave this blank and refer them to the birth certificate i dont know whether they want the registration number and for date and place of issue do they want when i ordered it that date of issue or when it was first filed
