ok we just got our packet back it was rejected...there were actually like 4 or 5 rejection notices within the packet but only 1 that gave a reason..when my wife filled out the g325 for my daughter she signed in the spot for if prepared by someone else instead of the other spot i understand that.... i paid for both my wife and stepdaughters adjustment with 1 check which is why both were rejected i understand that too...my question is none of these other notices give a reason for the rejection they are stapled to different forms so i dont know if they are all related to the one or if the other forms might have something wrong it says to correct and resubmit but other than the signature i dont know what needs to be corrected...also they sent the entire packet back except for the medical from her physical...why is that????..ok so if you guys could bombard me with your endless knowledge on the subject i would appreciate it...the other notices just say there was a problem with one of the applicants forms so i can only assume the signature is the main prob

k my sister in law is going for her biometrics tomorrow ive been told the alien registration number is the beneficiary number on the noa2...she got her noa for the biometrics and it has a different number than that of the noa 2 when they filed her aos papers she put none for alien number cuz she didnt know she had one so im just a bit confused on what is her ar# me and my wife are mailing are packet today and i just wanna be sure

Alien # starts with A then a zero "0", Check NOA2

k got that but what of my daughter... do i just put none for AR# and none for SS#

there is also a beneficiary number is that it??? and what of my daughter she has no number as they came together

Transcripts w/o W2's are ok.

The alien number is located on the NOA 2 you received from the initial K1 visa, you have to fill that in. If no SS number, you can write none.

there is only one noa 2 for my wife and daughter when they came over this is the noa2 from the original petitioni'm looking at it now and do not see a number only a receipt number

OK looks like i got everything here are my last few questions

1.checklist says to submit w2's and tax return instructions say a tax transcript is ok with a transcript will i still need to submit w2's?

2.if my wife or daughter have no alien number or social security number do i just leave blank or write none?

lol i always think its the last question but i am sure i will have more any help is appreciated

ok so heres another one of my dumb questions... just call me loopy... me and my wife married april of last year before the 90 day period so on the 485 for her current uscis status would i put k1-visa holder...or do i put that she is currently out of status since the k-1 is actually expired... i know sometimes my questions are redundant and yes i do read the instructions... i just want to be sure we get it right the first time ....thanks

about to file adjustment of status for my wife and stepdaughter when i send in the payment do i send in 2 separate checks or 1 check for both ...also when filing the advanced parole if we dont have a scheduled date to go back and visit how do we proceed with the filing do we just put any date in ???? and change it later?

My wife is filling out the advance parol the question i have is if she has no schedule date to go back to the philippines does she leave that section blank or just make up a date also as i looked at the example form there is a wide section that was not filled out at all does she just leave all this blank or does she need to check all the additional boxes etc,,

ok getting ready to file all our paper work for adjustment of status...my questions.... My wife and step daughter have been here 1 year now ...i know i know should have filed everything sooner but did not .....didnt see a timeline to file so i hope it does not hurt too much we also have a new child together.....anyways... when i file we file for both her and her daughter i believe seperate forms for each... do i need to have everything notarized again and when i send the check do i make out separate checks or 1 check for both....i understand filing them at the same time saves me about 400 dollars... or would it be better to let my wife file separately...she was allowed a social but they wont give 1 to my daughter till her status is adjusted....makes no sense but o well...any ways any help is appreciated..

is it required to list employer info employer letter etc or just helpful from what i could read the only thing required is the tax records and w'2s 1099 etc...ask because i am recently in a layoff status so am unemployed but i work as a union contractor so that isnt uncommon my income is ok 42k last yr including unemployment 37k without just want to know for income can i just submit tax info

Also i dont know the best way to list myself as self employed or employee again cuz technically im both..maybe best to also include a letter of explanation???????? your thoughts are appreciated

Ok so here i am again my wife has been here 1 year and we are just now getting to the adjustment of status for her and her daughter....money was the biggest road block... i am a union contractor and have long off periods and plus the addition of our new baby just made it hard to save...we have the money for their adjustment now however i am in another lay off period...my questions are do i put myself down as self employed even tho all the contractors take out taxes or do i list the union as an employer..and no i dont receive paychecks from them just benefits...as far as income i earned 42k last yr including unemployment payments, 37k without the benefits, everything i read says you are not required to send in employment verification,letter, job position ,etc.. just income.. but the other info can be helpful it only asks for tax returns w2's can i file with just that info any help would be appreciated

k tried to take my wife to get a state id today but they would not allow it said she has to be here for 1 yr first and her i 94 expires june 4 same as her k1-visa just curious can you get an extention on the i 94. still havent filed adjustment of status just a money thing right now but hopin i can get it done by july

Doesn't the 864 require a lot more information than the I-134 also? .

Two separate applications. 2 different affidavits. like above aye you need to do another. Read up on AOS so you can get savvy with what you need to send etc; . Goodluck

OK i understand it is a different application but the 864 seems like a form more for sponsoring a worker most of the questions on it do not even apply to a wife, as far as what they require for additional docs it doesnt seem like much 6 month paystubs, tax transcript noa2 thats pretty much it my question is if i am unable to file before her k-1 has expired (yes we are already married)..do i need to go ahead and submit our marriage certificate now or wait until i can file the aos which it is looking like will be after the expiration of the k-1

Send it in when you get money .

What if you got married say like the 80th day, then you would have to wait about 3 weeks for a marriage certificate and then get all your paperwork together.

Just get your aos in when you can, don't wait forever. Of course the sooner the better.............

so i already have a copy of the marriage ceryificate would i go ahead and mail that in now?

Mail it in when you do AOS.

Also apply for EAD and AP for your fiance, it doesn't cost any extra when you file.......

Hey can anyone tell me if there is an extension i can file for the adjustment of status.

My wife and i have already married her k-1 expires june 8th also her daughters k-2 expires june 8th.

The issue is simply money....can our daughter be done at a later date????

or is it possible to file for an extension for both i just need a little more time to come up with the moneyany advice would be helpful thanks
