  1. You do not have a timeline created which I would recommend you do. If the NOA2 is expected next month any telephone logs, receipts for engagement rings, tax returns, etc that will help in the proof of relationship would be great to bring over at this time. It is a little early for the I-134 potentially

ohh thank you so much for that i already updated my timeline..

  2. Hi guys!I will be with my fiance again next month, makes me so excited!!!We are looking forward for our NOA2 next month. Just soliciting your opinion fellow members-we are thinking, if he is going to bring with him the copy of the whole package of I129 he sent, cuz he will send the same later on..what else guys can you recommend that he needs to bring with me as part of the interview requirements later?or any preparations that we need to do? Thank you so much for any inputs!

  3. my thoughts to you is that any signs of symptoms at st lukes med exam will cause you delays in getting to the interview stage..just make sure everything is clear with your health..if you have a bad x-ray(scars or anything unusual on your lungs) but are cured they dont care, you will still need to go thru thier tests which could cause major headaches....trust me, ive been thru this...just make sure your 100% healthy...get checked up before going maybe to diff. doctors to be sure.....GL

thanks GL! congratulations at least you get over it now..good luck to the rest of your journey...

  4. Hello fellow members~

I arised to the above topic title since i have a problem with my baptismal certificate. My date of birth at my baptismal certificate is wrong. I have difficulty to fix the said matter since im already residing at Manila and i can no longer retrieve the records at our Parish since it was a long time ago.How vital is the baptismal certificate during interview? Also, I am soliciting your opinions how could i possibly fix the problem, is a notarized affidavit of mine stating my real birthday will suffice? Thanks in advance for all your inputs!

I was asked for my baptismal but i didn't have it with me,and it didn't cause any trouble for me-luckily.There's 2 things i could possibly advice about your problem.Get yourself second baptism and put the right birthdate.Or,have a sworn affidavit of any of your Godparents who were present during your baptism.Only do this option if you're too worried about it.But if you think you're good to go even withought baptismal certificate then be it.Follow your instinct-interviews should not be taken as "Bahala na".Goodluck

    Thanks a lot...

  5. Thank you for all the replies.

I Know that God has reasons for this.

My fiance and I had some misunderstanding. Its not my fault,I know that he is upset, but he needs to control his temper.

if we cannot overcome this problem, its God's will.

Just do all your best to provide what they are asking from you..With God nothing is impossible..no matter what ,if it is for you it will be still for you..Keep believing.. (L)

I was even registered late but the ConsuL did not ask for my baptismal cert.you can fix your wrong birth date in your Baptismal by getting an affidavit from a lawyer.Just that easy.

hi happywifeymom..i agree with you..maybe an affidavit is the best way to fix it just to serve as a back up if ever the CO will request later on..thanks

  7. Baptismal certificate only comes into play if you are late BC registered! If not they don't ask for it.

im thankful for your input Haole...god bless...

Haole is right. If your Birth Certificate is not late registered, then it's not necessary to bring your Baptismal Certificate.

You'll be fine. Good luck! :)

thank you cezychic and congrats to you..you will receive your visa asap for sure...Good luck..

  9. Hello everyone...its 12 am here in Philippines according to my watch. I couldnt sleep and just watching year-end report of tv stations. If i remember i was once a member of this site but i forgot ..maybe years ago. And in order for me to give some information or just tell my story..about Life or Love? uhmm etc. To protect the privacy of any institutions or persons i wont divulge their names. When i was young so much younger than today lol..joke.I dont really know about other people in other countries as long as they are whites or blacks im thinking they are Americans and i remembered calling them "Hey Joe".. I am just an ordinary girl who has a dream..dreams...??? A smart girl and belonged to a top ten of our class and from a Middle Class Family. I could have the nice stuff that a little could have. Had many suitors even in primary grade and more on high school and in college. But i wanted to become a...so lovelife wasnt my priority that time coz i wanted to be..... i used to be playgirl and sometimes bet on guys to be my bf. Then reached my dream and sometimes you think all things will be alright but its not. I am engaged to be married with a Filipino Engineer, my bf for 2 years but didnt work out so we broke up and I heard hes married now and in USA. Coz of that break up i ended up using an internet. Coz my friend met a bf from the net and his friend has a single friend also looking for a friend/gf. So we were introduced to each other via the phone and then emails...If i remember the cost of internet usage that time was 130 pesos an hour.yes 130 pesos or almost 3 dollars an hour. Laptop Computer wasnt common that time or if there is laptop maybe you can count it only and no webcam yet. Celfone is not yet around.Coz i remember beeper..easy call were popular. And we were still using PT & T if we want to make a long distance call from all over the Phillipines,Pt &T doesnt exist anymore. So after exchanging emails for many months we became bf/gf with the friend of my friend's bf.But after 2 years of waiting he promised to come but didnt show up and didnt get any emails from him.My friend broke up also with her bf coz the ex wife of my friend's bf kept on calling her also to stay away from him.

I was hurt coz no explanations from my first Internet Bf.And i even told my parents and friends about him and with the company im working with. So, i made a promise to myself that if ever i meet another one.I will talk not just one but to two so i can choose and who is really sincere about me. So i met some guys over the net but not in person..no webcams..and just a picture.and to have your pic scanned it cost 50 pesos or more than 1 dollar.I met a lot of friends also over the net.and one of my friend sent me a big amount of money for my birthday. Western Union wasnt popular yet that time.through bank to bank. He asked me about my bank account so he could give me a birthday present and i was shocked when i had my bankbook updated $$$$ ..yes 6 digits in pesos.and he is only my friend. Anyway i dont believe that i could still find love from the internet and besides i had some filipino guys who kept on courting me and asking me for a date. Then i started to travel to other countries.i have 3 passports now, just renewed a new one and thats color Maroon.new color of Philippine Passport. Then i met a wonderful guy from the USA...and thats the beginning of my visa adventure... then visa again.,US Embassy interview..denial... marriage... divorced.....then recognition of divorced in Philippines....yeah i guess its your first time to hear the Recognition of Divorced in Philippines since Divorced is not common in Philippines...but Annulment instead.

Anyway i will continue my story next time .. about my first K1 Visa.. this will be my 3rd K1 Visa and still waiting for the NOA2..gud am...

mmmnnn..for me writing this one maybe a past time for her. sort of expressing what she has in mind and heart..who knows after writing this one she falls asleep :yes:

Hi fellow members, i just would like to hear any comments/suggestions-My fiance checked that his cheque was already encashed.. Our paperworks was forwarded to VSC last December 9, but to date, no notice of receipt or words from the USCIS. is this normal? How did u receive your NOA1 prior to receipt tru snail mail? I would like to be appeased that our paperworks is already at their hands. I wish you could give me the link also to where my SO can send email and validate the receipt of our paperworks to VSC. thank you so much for the help!

It is common for the NOA1 to be delayed - their system is very slow in this regard. It does not mean they are not processing your case from the date it was received. All you can do is be patient and assume the best.

I agree wth you Karin!! patient be patient and be more patient :innocent:
