  1. Nice congrats - shouldn’t be long now for an IL - probably interview during mid August
  2. Visa medicals told me on the day it would be 5 working days
  3. 3 working days so quick - hopefully same for us Is anyone a dual citizen? Shortly after my interview my wife is coming over from America and we are having a holiday in Europe so planning on using my second passport to go overseas and when we get back to England picking up my passport/visa from the courier service place in Holborn - I think this should be ok?
  4. Yeah ur def all good to USA for early July as earliest interview would be early August as you still have to submit police check. All the best.
  5. We submitted all documents mid Feb so got DQ early March and received IL end of March for interview mid May so if you have already submitted all your forms/evidence you could be DQ by mid May and receive IL letter early June/mid June for interview end of July/early August like you say. When you get to US immigration have a print out of the IL to show you’re only there for a short visit.
  6. Just received my IL at 6:20am this morning. what a relief. it’s in mid May a couple of weeks before our 2nd year wedding anniversary so probably officer will ask me if I wanna wait until then to get my 10 year green card which suits me.

  8. It was an easy process - I thought it would involve a lot of work but the change of embassy was done during I-130 stage when my wife moved back to USA and myself to UK so we both did paper change of address forms and submitted by mail to USCIS and by the time I-130 was approved and case sent to NVC the embassy had been changed from Sydney to London. if you’re at NVC stage it might involve more work changing embassy like completing a form, payment of fees, proof of citizenship/residency/employment for country of embassy you want to change to.
  9. NasUK - NVC are really quick now - you should know by end of month whether all your paperwork is accepted first time round and if are DQ hopefully interview early June - all the best
  10. Yeah I got my case transferred from Sydney to London due to the backlogs/delays over there but at Islamabad/Mumbai embassies there are people DQ for 2 years or more and still waiting for IL - and they can’t get ESTAs to visit their loved ones in the states
