  1. Finally naturalized today. It took me writing a letter to the immigration officer who interviewed me to get my case moving. So glad to be done with uscis.
  2. So sorry you’re going through this. Out of curiosity, what does your online status say? I’m in Florida, and my FO is Montgomery, AL. My story is almost identical to yours. I had my interview on 7/11 and was recommended for approval. They were having “system issues” so they couldn’t naturalize me that day. Haven’t heard Jack from them since. I’ve tried calling, sending a letter to the FO and sending a message to USCIS via their inbox, but to no avail. They are legally obligated to give you a decision 120 days after your interview, but apparently that’s not enforced unless you take those incompetent ####### to court. Again, I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. It’s absolutely unacceptable and enraging. I feel your pain.
  3. They are required by law to render a decision within 120 days after the interview date. I would try the CIS Ombudsman and the congressperson inquiry on day 121. Don't bother calling customer service. Their customer service line is beyond useless. My case was recommended for approval on 7/11/2023 and my online status still says "interview was scheduled." The phone call was terrible. The customer service rep told me that estimated completion times for my field office was January of 2025, and that I wouldn't be allowed to inquire about my case until then, which is obviously false. In any case, good luck.
  4. Reach out to your congressperson or consider suing them. They're obligated to give you a decision 120 days after your interview date.
  5. on the options menu in the chat, scroll all the way down and it'll say "live chat." If you click on that it should connect you to a representative. Good luck getting through to an actual immigration officer. The "live chat" representatives don't know anything about your file. They're customer service representatives.
  6. None. My status still says "interview was scheduled." I tried to message them via Emma about a week ago and they told me I can't do anything until 120 days have passed since the interview. I at least got them to admit that they have it on their record that I attended the interview, but not much else beyond that. This is beyond frustrating. I'm sorry you're dealing with the same thing. It's been 7 weeks for me now.
  7. not sure if this counts since I was recommended for approval as per my N-652, but I had my Interview on 7/11/2023 and my case status still says "interview was scheduled."
  8. I had my interview on 7/11, was recommended for approval on the n-652 and there's still no online status update. This is so frustrating.
