when does the 180 days for name check begin, after finger printing or after AOS interview?
-
found the the following link on another forum
http://www.aila.org/content/default.aspx?docid=24696
Should customers contact USCIS through the 1-800 customer service number or make anINFOPASS appointment to visit their local office if they believe their application meets the criteria
of this new policy?
A9. We recommend that customers wait until mid-March before inquiring about cases affected by this
policy modification. This will allow each office sufficient time to identify and adjudicate the relevant
pending cases. If no action is taken by mid-March, we recommend inquiring with the USCIS customer
service line at 1-800-375-5283.
the above is for , those who are stuck in namecheck for more than 180 days...

Be patient! The online system does not always update and some people have a long wait to have their name cleared. The hard part is over - do you have your AP and EAD?
my lawyer advised me against applying for AP and EAD , he said you will get your green card before either of these aproved, will wait one more week and think what to do next

i had AOS interview on 22nd of this month , my wife is US citizen , the immigration officer , seated me in a different room , asked some questions to my wife , then he asked me How did i come to US, if i ever been arrested... that is all...
