    Problems with appointment letter in India

    Has anyone had any problems getting their appointment letter in the mail in India. I know the postal system over there is not reliable. At least some of the stuff I mailed to my husband, never got to him and some did.

    However, inspite of the fact that the address was correct on the K3 paperwork for my husband, somehow he did not receive his appointment packet after they said they sent it and now it has been 10 days since the day it was send sent. He now has to go travel 9 hours to the embassy to get a duplicate.

    What is wrong over there?

    I'm also worrying the same thing. My case is completed and not once my hubby got any letter from NVC like ds3032 or ds230.

    Where do you from? My husband would also have travel like 8 hours for the embassay. We should be close since it looks like our timelines are same.

    As for me, i'm still waiting for the interview date. I have seen that for Mumbai, interviews already have been schduled. For New Delhi, it hasn't been. NVC keeps telling that they are waiting. I just that i get an interview date for Dec. I'm feeling left out :help::crying::crying:

    Case completed as of 10/24. Interview scheduled for December 1st.

    I did but the phone kicks me back in the main menu saying all operators are busy. :wow::wow::bonk::bonk:

    Thanks and cant wait for the interview to be done and live with my hubby here. We all did a great Sacrifice to be with our spouses and they better appriciate us. :bonk::bonk:

    I don't mind having december interview but can we request for an early december interview? Can we speak to anyone at NVC about this? I am thinking something before December 15th.

    I really don't know but it depends on the embaasy. I also want interview like first week of December. Can you somehow find out about this and let me know. Thanks Kman :star:(F)

    talked to an operator and said can't request for interview dates. They will be assigned according to their procedures.

    CONGRATS :dance::dance: I CALLED TODAY AND NVC SAID THAT THEY WILL SEND MY CASE IN THE SECOND WEEK OF NOV AND CALLED IN THE THIRD WEEK OF NOV TO FIND OUT THE INTERVIEW DATE,,,,,#######........C'MON, THEY HAVEN'T SENT MY CASE YET, ITS BEEN I WEEK SINCE CASE COMPLETE. I HOPE THEY SEND OUT SOON. ANYBODY ELSE GOT AN INTERVIEW DATE IN DEC WHOSE CASE GOT COMPLETE IN THE PAST A WEEK OR SO?????????????????????

    thanks reehon but im upset now, found out we have an RFE because the stupid lawyer didnt send in ds230 part 2. i sent everything complete, and husband wanted to let lawyer double check before mailing to nvc but turned out, that messed up lawyer didnt send in part 2! now husband has to overnight it tomorrow. im upset :angry:

    Why don't you download the form and fill out part 2 your self because part 2 doesn't need your husband signature correct. Rmusic

    actually the part 2 is with husband already. everything is with him. its just that the stupid lawyer didnt mail it with the part 1. now husband has to mail it tomorrow and its causing a F****d up delay on our case

    Got it, That's why I didn't want lawyer ever thu my sister in law is Immigration lawyer only thing I asked her was to check my I-130 when I send it to VSC just to make sure I got everything correct. Rmusic

    i told my husband all he needed to do was mail the ds230 packet i gave him straight to nvc but he just wanted to be sure and had the lawyer double check it. so now, she took out the ds230 part 2 and didnt include it, how stupid is that?

    Sounds like you should be strangling that lawyer.

    Hey Sasha, i think you should print out the part 2 and send it to NVC. Trust me, nothing will happen. They will accept and soon your case will be complete. As for me, even though my case is complete, i'm still waiting for the interview. NVC will scedule the interview in the second week of the NOv for December. I was hoping to get an interview in NOv but no. Anyway, you have like two more weeks to get an interview for December. So send the missing docs asap. If i were u. i would have send it already. Never involve any lawyer. They just waste time and money. So get the things rolling. :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs: and best of luck... :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::yes::yes:

    Wow, been gone for a couple days and all i see now are completes. Congrats you guys. :dance:

    Congratulations reehon! Yours was fast. I hope to have no RFEs! My hubby just mailed the AOS/IV package back to NVC. Hope to hear from them in a week or two. Congrats again! I'm happy for you.

    Thank you ynatots and i know you wont have any RFEs and your case will be complete by the end of next week. keep calling NVC starting from Tuesday. I dont know when i have to call NVC to find out my interview date? Do you know?
