  1. Thank you for your comment! Since I stated that she will apply for an immigrant visa abroad at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou on 62.a-62.c, is there a chance it will be assigned directly to Guangzhou? I hope the transfer from London to Guangzhou won't add too much time.
  2. Thank you so much for that!!! I only thought of a criminal report for China.
  3. Why? I never stayed longer than 6 months per visit, and I still have to come back to the U.S. for work.
  4. That's perfect! If they send the packet by email, then we don't have to worry about keeping her apartment in the UK so she can receive the mails or worry about letting USCIS know about the change in address. Thank you!
  5. Some context: My wife and I got married in November of 2022 I work remotely, so I have a lot of flexibility. I traveled to my wife's place in London and lived with her. We have been living together from 05/2022 - 09/2022 and from 09/2022 - 02/2023. I am now back in the US for work purposes and will be flying back to London this weekend. My Questions: Do we qualify for direct consular filing? If we don't qualify, I have another question. On Form I-130, can I put my wife's address as part of my address history? Since I entered the UK as a visitor, it's only considered as visits, so should I not put down the address in the UK in my address history section? Thank you for reading, and I would appreciate any input you could provide.
  6. Hi Everyone, Here is my situation: My wife currently lives in London; she is a student and will graduate in May. After she graduates, she will go back to China. On Form I-130, Page 5, Part 4, 11.a-11.h, Beneficiary's Physical Address, I put her current address in the UK. On Page 8, 57.a-58.f, I put her address in China in Chinese. On 62.a-62.c, I stated that she will apply for an immigrant visa abroad at the U.S. Embassy in Guangzhou. I notice the note in the form: We want to receive the packet at my wife's address in China and have the interview at the U.S. Embassy in Guangzhou since she will be graduating and going back to China soon. My questions are: Will USCIS use the address I provided in Chinese on pages 8, 57.a-58.f to send the packet to my wife, or will they use the address I provided in Part 4, 11.a-11.h, Beneficiary's Physical Address? If USCIS will use the address provided in Beneficiary's Physical Address, should I change the address to her address in China as her physical address? Or should I send what I have now and inform them of the address change in May by filling AR-11? If I should go with AR-11, will it cause a big delay? Thank you for reading, and I would appreciate any input you could provide.
