    Right now it just says your case was received on the USCIS website, it’s driving me crazy that’s all they keep showing!

    So, 15 months of approval time from the USCIS, when should we expect the interview to happen in that case?

    That’s what our immigration lawyers told us. And we didn’t want to be apart for 3 years, so we took the k1 route. That was said to go through in 6-8 months average.

    But doesn’t spousal visa mean you’re apart from your spouse for 3 years? That’s the reason why we took the K1 route.

    How long does it take for the NVC to assign a case number from the time of submission of documents? Online it says 4-6 weeks, but we haven’t received any update from NVC.

    Hi, We submitted our K1 application on 1st June 2022, we received a letter stating how they’ll proceed with the case. Haven’t heard anything since then. I am really worried, as it’s been 8 months since the letter arrived. I don’t have an NVC number to check the status of the visa.. when should we expect USCIS to send our application to the NVC?
