  1. lol..sorry..I did my best to post a link from a guide here in Visajourney regarding your question. I really don't know why it appears My Link..lol..but I really hope it will help..btw, your friend is right..if you are worried that much, why not just travel around June or July? so that whenever you come back again here in US, you can file around August..and if you are really worried(hehehe), then just visit Philippines after your ROC or once you get approved with a 10-year gc..God bless again!!..

    thanks for your reply...

  2. Hi everyone, just want to ask a question regarding the application for removal of condition. This is my situation.

My conditional gc(based on marriage) will be expired on mid of Sept. but I'm planning to visit home in August and be back in US a week before my gc expires.

My friends advised me to file for removal of conditional before I leave the country but I'm scared when USCIS scheduled my biometrics and interview I'm out of the country OR if file a week before it expires might not be a good idea?

    ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I appreciate any comments and advice.... THANK YOU

  3. I am scheduled to see the doctor on May 5th for the vaccinations that I need (HPV and TD booster) but the thing is, we just discovered yesterday that I am pregnant. Am I excuse to recieve those shots that I need? In case the doctor won't give me shots because I am pregnant, can I ask the doctor a document stating that I am pregnant which I can send to the USCIS together with the rest of AOS documents? Do I still need to transcribe my medical records eventhough my shots aren't complete?

BTW, my medical in the Philippines will expire on August.

    Thanks in advance :star:

    Oh my gulay!!Diane Congratulations!

  7. This thread may have to be moved, but anyway....

Is anyone from Bohol around here, or know much about it? I'm planning a trip there soon with my fiancee and we are wondering if hiking is allowed on the "chocolate hills"

We know people can hike up atleast one of them as part of the regular tourist attraction, but we are curious if it's possible to break-away from the pack and find some that are more secluded to hike up and take pictures from.

    Any info is helpful....thanks!

You can hike near the Loboc river..I forgot what's the name of that place. There are some caves too which is pretty cool.We hiked for more than an hour, then

if you want to go near the chocolate hills you can rent motorbikes there, its really cheap!

We stayed 2 nights at the loboc river, its so amazing! At 5PM you can hear all the fireflies, the thing is,they don't have electricity.

If you like nature,Im sure you can enjoy it!

  8. Way to go, Ford. Their Fusion and Flex models have gotten good reviews. I hope they will continue to build more smaller, more fuel efficient as well as safe and reliable cars.

  9. Hey y'all!

I'm thinking about going back to college this fall... but this time here in the US. I am not sure what I am going to study yet, so at the beginin' I would just take a couple classes and see how it goes.

Anyways... I have a Degree in Tourism Management in my country (Spain). I just graduated 9 months ago... and I just got all the documents with the classes i have been taking and the grades i got in all of them.

So.. my question is... Do I have to start from zero here? or would my degree count here in the us?

    Thanks!

I also have bachelor's degree in my country and Im gonna go back to school this summer.

It depends on the school I think. In my case I will be a freshman again...sigh!

  10. UC San Diego -- a school for the smart ones, supposedly -- mistakenly congratulated nearly 29,000 applicants on their acceptance, according to university officials.

Earlier this month, about 17,000 students were offered admission for the fall, leaving nearly 29,000 hopefuls out in the cold.

But on Tuesday, the school's communications office said an e-mail was sent Monday afternoon to all 46,377 students who applied for admission -- including the 29,000 rejects -- welcoming them to the campus.

A half-hour later, school officials said, they realized their mistake. Almost two hours after the first note went out, a second e-mail was sent, apologizing to 28,889 freshmen applicants for the mistake.

"No member of this department is more acutely aware of the emotional roller-coaster that this could cause for our applicants," Assistant Vice Chancellor Mae W. Brown said.
