When I applied for the i140 I chose the Consulate Processing because I was in a J1 visa, and had to travel in a couple months after  while waiting for the i140 to be approved. If you apply for the i485 with a J1, you can't travel back and renew your stamp anymore.
 
Because now I'm in a H1B visa, it doesn't matter anymore about travelling, so I just applied for the i485 since I'm here in the US anyway, and flying to Rio + hotels + medical exams would be much more than the actual i485 fee.

Received my interview letter, for July 17th. So 262 days (8 months and 20 days) between DQ and interview for Rio consulate.
 
I filed the i485 now, so it doesn't matter anymore

Waiting for interview letter. 
Now with retrogression in effect, the interview appointment will take longer, I believe.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share with you that we arrived at the US today safe and sound. It took no longer than 10 minutes with the CBP officer - she opened the sealed envelopes, checked a couple documents, and asked some quick questions. Then she stamped our visas and said that we were good to go. I hope for you all that everything goes as smooth as it was for us!

Updating my status.. there was a development as follows:
 
Rio de Janeiro - US Consulate
 
Email sent to NVCExpedite@state.gov - Mar 7th
NVC Acknowledged and Replied - Mar 8th
Consulate Approved Expedite - Mar 9th
NVC Confirmed Case Sent to Consulate and changed status to "In Transit" - Mar 15th
 
Still waiting for the Consulate to receive my case and schedule the interview/appointment.

There's a post about the Montreal Consulate here on VJ where users say there is a huge backlog over there. You might take a look before reaching a conclusion. I have the feeling that Rio is moving faster with the cases.

Hopefully the NVC and US Consulate in Rio de Janeiro will work to reduce the waiting time to schedule an interview. 
It is taking about 130 days after DQ to receive an IL.

Hi everyone, just received my interview letter early this morning, just 7 days after DQ, US Consulate in Rio is rocking!!!! We were not expecting that fast.
Looks like they are prioritizing  family based ones.

Interview date: April 06

Hi @Damiores! I think that @RVS has given you the best possible answer sharing the DOS official link about vaccinations. Nevertheless, I'll translate and paste below the message sent by the doctor's office before our appointment.
 
Vaccination (Age 18 – 60 years)
- Covid 19: 2 full doses
- Flu Shot
- MMR
- Hepatitis B
- Tdpa/ Dtpa
- Chickenpox/Varicella (if you had the disease, you don't need it)

My wife also didn't have her immunization records anymore. We tried to reach out the public health services to look for it but they didn't have anything in their database. So we talked to the doctor's office in advance, and they recommended her to take all the required shots again so she could have the records. Those vaccines (except for chickenpox) are available at no cost here in Brazil (public health services), so by the time of our appointment she had all her immunization figured out (without needing to pay for it) and didn't have to take any other vaccine.

They were letting people considering the interview hour, so at the moment I was there everybody had their interviews between 7 and 8 am. I think there was something arround 10 applicants at that moment, but it's only a guess.

Have you tried in your health center where do you live?  Ask for your vaccination records, It worked for me.

@chrisbonatto there are another cases that 7 to 8 days after the first or second 60 days notice email, they receive an email scheduling the interview. So You are very close to receive it👍👊
