Hello everyone, My wife received her F21 visa and have entered the country. I'm excited about this new journey but have some questions about the next steps. Could anyone please help me with the following: 1. How does she go about obtaining a Social Security Number (SSN)? 2. Does she need to apply for an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) to work in the US? If this isn't the right forum for these questions, kindly let me know where can find the appropriate information. Thank you in advance for your guidance!

Any updates on ILs? Also, for bio-metric is it scheduled the same time when provided an interview date or will need to schedule it?

I see the final action date on visa bulletin has been changed from 'Current' to 08SEP20. What does this imply?

@CoolGuru Congratulation's! and all the best. What was your DQ date and when is the Interview? What is current DQ and IL date? Is there a list or where in the US is petitioner and applicants located? Anyone in Arizona area?

Congratulations to all who have received IL. My wife application got DQ'd on September 2022. What is the approximation wait to get an IL ? Also, I read the plan is to have more staff at other embassy's in India to address the backlog and delay. Has anyone heard any thing regarding it?
