  1. Our EAD got approved literally 2 days after the biometrics. Wish the AOS could be processed that fast. Unless we dig into more personal details/backgrounds, it's hard see any patterns just by looking at the timelines.
  2. My fiancé had an interview early Feb and right after that the CEAC status changed to "Refused" as she was asked to mail in additional document. We found out today that our case was approved(Hooray!) at the consular level, and we are currently awaiting her passport to be delivered. Our current CEAC status is exactly the same wording Barbara shared, NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION. - APPROVED. What's interesting is that altho it displays as NONIMMIGRANT, we still need to select IMMIGRANT visa type on the CEAC website. It might not be usual to have a second or multiple interviews, but I saw some couple from India had a second interview and got approved later. So I hope your case could be resolved soon too. I totally understand it's nerve-wrecking, but just hang in there, your patience will be rewarded eventually.
  3. Yes, indeed. I guess what matters more is the expiration date, not the issue date.
  4. Thanks. My fiancé was trying to figure out when to put the notice at work as it requires at least 4 weeks prior to last woking day. As per our Embassy website, it says that K1 visa is generally valid for six months from the medical examination date, so if that's the case, sooner is better I think.
  5. Hi all, I'm new to the community and first time posting a topic here(or rather seeking for some answer). Does someone have knowledge of the visa issue date? My fiancé had her K1 interview last week but forgot to bring the birth certificate translation, thus delayed in receiving the visa. In such case, what would be the visa issue date? would it be the medical examination date or the date on which the consular actually grant the visa? Many thanks,
