    1.  Just the pay stubs will be fine.  Make sure your wife takes a copy of the most recent one to the interview, as you will have worked there longer by then.

    2.  Yes, you can complete the DS260 as if it is her doing it.

    3.  Make sure your wife has YOUR written permission with her when she checks in for the flight.

    4.  Most likely you are not allowed to attend the interview.  Best to have the whole file in her possession in case they want to see something.

for question 3- I got a notarized letter saying the baby can travel

I called Immıgrant Visa Unit in Ankara today about to get an idea of the wait times.. they just said: wait for your interview letter and then register/make your appointment.

Also I was meaning to ask do you guys have any idea of CR1 visa wait time for Turkish citizens? I can't find any solid information about it. It's mostly for non-Turkish people.. or other categories..

Check out yesilkartforum.com there is a subject called "ir1/cr1 süreci" what is your DQ?

  3. I am asking for a friend.. I did not open a new thread this time..its off topic but I will still ask under here..

"Hi all, I filed I30 for my spouse and my PD is Dec 28th 2022. I was issued online access code like a month ago after so many phone calls. I still don’t see any AR or any other updates on my case. When I call Uscis, they are telling me that they have my case and there isn’t anything preventing it from being reviewed. Should I be worried that it is not under AR? Did anyone experience a similar situation? "

2nd question- I am married for 7 years and have a toddler. Do they need any more proof from me? I only sent in couple photos with my application. Should i upload more evidence on uscis

Here’s the deal:  you are DQ’d, correct?   The NVC routinely sends “you may not be financially qualified” type of messages, but the bottom line is that the decision rests with the consular officer.  They have discretionary power.

If the CO finds that they need additional info or documents from you, they’ll definitely let you know at the interview.   Good luck.

Yes i am DQd. I am assuming its up to the interview person. Hopefully I will be more prepared

  5. I got a message saying documetarily qualified both as an email and on Ceac. But there is also a message saying "This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. I DO HAVE A JOINT SPONSOR and her documents were submitted and accepted. Schedule C and bank documents were submitted. What is the reason for this message?

I am documentarily qualified since I also have the DQ message, correct?

Schedule C is part of a personal tax return, not a separate document.  Inform NVC there are no W2s or 1099s for this sponsor, because they do not receive any.

We did write a letter and uploaded it to my part stating that main petitioner and joint sponsor doesnt have w2 1099. Good thing is they are not asking it from me (the main sponsor) anymore. Do you think i have to upload the same letter to the joint sponsors section as well? Why dont they just understand

mgul, everyone understands that you're concerned.  However, please do NOT start ANY new threads on this topic.  We've had to merge threads twice.  If you have further questions or information, post them in THIS thread only.  Thanks, and good luck.

This was definitely suggested to OP a few times in the thread. ..perhaps this time it will become clearer.

WRITE a short Letter stating Joint Sponsor does NOT get 1099s or W-2s and upload it.
NOW that it’s April , you will also need to upload 2022 tax returns for both Sponsor and Joint Sponsor along with same Letter of NO 1099/W-2.

I did write a letter but they send a case fe stating submit 1099. They are driving us crazy! After april 18th is when we upload 2022 taxes correct? Also does the i864 form need to he updated as well with new tax info

Do you have a joint sponsor?  If so, are you uploading the document into the correct area?

    Also, are you uploading the correct 1099?  1099-Div, 1099-Int, SSA1099, 1099-R, 1099-B, etc?

She doesn't have any 1099. Yes she has her own documents tab. She has schedule C. We uploaded it to form w2 wage/ tax statement section on CEAC and they rejected it

You will need to write a separate statement for you and Joint Sponsor explaining there are no W-2 /1099 for either, yours due to unemployment and his due to self employment.
Your self employed Joint Sponsor will keep getting rejected unless he has submitted proof of current income / business license or DBA. That means a Profit and Loss ( usually by tax preparer ) to substantiate net income for 6 months and bank statements for 6 months that show the deposits/gross revenue.
***You will face this issue at Consulate even if you get past NVC****

So have your Joint Sponsor do that or try to get a W-2 employed Joint Sponsor.

You indicate you are living overseas, so prepare evidence of Re establishing domicile

Hello, our self employed joint sponsor will submit bank statements. She has multiple bank accounts due to her bussiness. Which one/ones should she submit 6 months of? Is it better to show a lot money in her bank account or just bussines checking account? For example there are total of 40K addition and 35K subtractions monthly in one of her accounts will that account be ok?

Some of mine say accepted and some still say submitted. They want a proof of w2 but i sent in schedule C under addtional doc section and those say submitted. Which is odd to me cause if they looked under that section they can see my tax documents supporting why I dont have w2. Any idea anyone? Can they just look at some of your documents and not the rest

One more thing would you be able to let me know how to write a letter explaining why not paying taxes? My wife needs to do this. Also can this be typed on a computer or does it have to be handwritten? Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you 🙏

It can be typed then sign it in ink then upload it to ceac. Type todays date, the appliant name pettioner name on top right hand corner. to whom it may concern, and write an explanation saying why you dont have the taxes. It can be couple sentences nothing lenghty. I wrote on saying I live aborad and not working currently so I dont have W2.

    Hello,

    Please advice.

At the beginning of our visa journey we hired a lawyer in hope we will not have any surprises and mistakes.

My husband is US citizen and we were hoping I will join him soon in US.

We got married in July 2020, filed everything in September 2020, first part was OK and in March 2021 we submitted all documents to NVC.

My husband owns a S-Corporation and has no W2/1099 only 1020S for 2021 individual tux return. Form 1020S prove his income through S-corporation. Since he often travels outside of US because we use our last chance to have kids through IVF (we are in our 40s). We literally have natural IVF cycle every month, he is not employed and does not have W2 or 1099, but he has more than enough income through his S-corporation to support me. We did submitted tax return for 2021 for our company, 1099 for company, his individual tax return with 1020S and information of his income through s-corporation.

NVC keep asking and asking for his W2/1099 form.

Unfortunately our lawyer told us at the begging that this will not be a problem, and now he telling us that they changed rules.

He advised us to find sponsor with W2 form (which was not logical to me, but we did it anyway). He submitted all necessary documents for my cosponsor.

I received the same message again “Please submit every W2/1099 for XX (my husband) for 2021”

We are miserable and to be honest we don’t know what to do anymore.

Do you have any advise for us?

We will greatly appreciate any help

Did tou submit a letter stating why your husband doesn't have w2/1099? The people here suggested me to write a letter and sign it and saying why I dont have those documents. I recently submitted them. Hopefully I'll get a result back
