  1. I recently filed the I-129f on Nov 17th, thinking the k1 visa process would take about eight months, but it looks like it will take much longer. I thought of having my sister file an I-134A on behalf of my Haitian national fiancé instead of me since I recently lost my job due to a work injury. I've been getting worker's comp benefits; sadly, that doesn't count as income. Yet, I don't want her I-129f to be denied or not selected for the humanitarian parole program. Can my sister file an i-134a for my Haitian fiancée while she's waiting for her i-129f to be approved?
