  1. Hello! I was wondering if you were able to solve the problem with your wife’s SSN and the credit agencies? Seems like my husband is having the same issue. I could add him to my bank account and also to my credit card but he can’t even sign up for an online account and I can’t make him an account manager. Every time I enter his SSN is says “invalid”. Not sure how I can resolve the issue. Any information and help from you will be greatly appreciated.
  2. If you go to your online account and check the documents most likely you’ll see your approval notice. That’s how we found out that my husband’s EAD was approved. It was approved on Dec 4th, but the status changed only on Dec 11th when the card was produced. The status was showing “Case is being actively reviewed” but it had already been approved a week earlier.
  3. No there’s no update on AP. It still shows received. I highly doubt it will get approved before the Green Card. Interestingly, my husband’s EAD was approved on Dec 4th, but on USCIS website the status was never changed to “Approved “. I found out that it had been approved when I logged in and checked the documents. And the approval notice was there! Yesterday the status changed to “Card produced” and today I got a notification from USPS that the card was shipped. I hope all those who are still waiting for the approval get approved very soon! Our timeline 11/09/2023- Sent to USCIS 11/15/2023- NOA1 12/15/2023- Biometrics appt.( we followed the advice of other people and rescheduled the appt to an earlier date Dec 1st) 12/02/2023- Both AOS and EAD status changed to “Case being actively reviewed” 12/04/2023- EAD approval 12/11/2023- Approval notice came in the mail. 12/11/2023- card was produced 12/12/2023- card was shipped.
  4. You can add the case number in case tracker app and find out if the biometrics appointment was scheduled or not.
  5. Have you tried to do a live chat and request your online access code?
  6. I really hope the estimated 3 months is wrong and your wife gets the approval much sooner.
  7. I sent my AOS package yesterday with DS-3025 only. I read about I-693 afterwards and got nervous. But I guess now I have to wait and see if they will ask for I-693. Thanks for your response!
  8. Thanks so much for your response! I was really confused about the I-693 form, but I am glad I did the right thing sending DS-3025 with the AOS package. I really hope you don’t get an RFE and get a quick approval instead!
  9. Can somebody clarify sone questions I have about Form I-693? I see a lot of people have mentioned here that we should submit I-693 with AOS package, but my husband claims he never got that from from the civil surgeon when he was doing medical exam for his K-1 visa. He says it might have been in the sealed envelope that he gave at the border. He never got an extra copy of it. He has his DS-3025, which I submitted with his AOS package. Can somebody tell me if he was supposed to have a copy of his I-693? Or we need to go to another civil surgeon to have the form filled out again?
  10. Thanks so much for responding! You are right, I may as well stay here because it will be nice to hear updates of applications submitted before mine.
  11. Do you guys know if there’s a chat for November AOS filers. I can’t find it. I would really appreciate if someone can send me the link(if there’s one).
  12. The case number was in the email which notified me that my petition was sent to the embassy.
  13. I never got a Welcome letter, not even the case number despite multiple inquires. The only email I got from NVC was the notification that they sent the case to the embassy.
  14. If you change it to an Immigrant Visa(IV) you will not need an invoice #. That’s how I check mine.
  15. No, according to NVC public inquiry primary applicant is the one who’s going to immigrate( the beneficiary). I had the DOB correct on every form. I guess they had made a mistake creating the account.
  16. I think so too! I wish all those who are still waiting get their case numbers soon!
  17. Same here. I got an email from NVC on May 4th that they had received my petition and it was waiting for a data entry into their system. Since then I haven’t heard any update. On May 15th I sent an inquiry asking for my case number, they got back to me on the 19th stating that the primary applicant ’s DOB on the inquiry didn’t match their records and asked me to submit a copy of the passport. I sent the copy both by email and public inquiry form, trying to be thorough, so they have no future excuses. I got an email yesterday from nvcresearch that they have received my petition and will send the detailed instructions soon. And they still didn’t give me my case number. “Soon” is very ambiguous, and I have no idea at this point why they are not giving me my case number….
  18. I made an inquiry on Monday asking for my case number, but haven’t heard anything from NVC. Previously it would take a day or two to get a response. Has anybody sent an inquiry this week and have you received a response from NVC?
