    I have a lawyer, they uploaded it on other category my CEAC account. Also I mailed them my documents with passport.

    I'm same here, exactly same scenario. I'm waiting around 10 weeks still is refused. More than 2 months still didn't review my joint sponsor documents. I'm in Montreal embassy.

    Is it helpful to send an email every 10 days? Is it helpful to ask help from senator or congressman? It's end of 8th week. And no update at all. They answered to the second email but didn't update my case, just confirmed that they have documents and is still processing. I just want to know how long I have to wait for my passport? They said is between 6 to 8 weeks. Now 8 weeks passed.

    I'm wondering why they don't reply to my husband's email inquiry. My husband sent 2 emails in last 3 weeks. But for both of them they didn't reply. I sent another one last week as well. We are sending to the correct email with right subject. It's my 8th week. I wasn't at background check, only asked for joint sponsor. But they are acting weird. Don't know what to do now

    Hello, I sent back my joint sponsor documents with passport to Montreal. They had it on 18th September, also uploaded in CEAC. Last update was 28th September. I'm at the end of the 7th week. We already sent emails. Any advice about what to do if didn't hear back till end of 8th week? Has anybody else here in same situation?
