  1. Hi

We were approved 22 Sept. I phoned NVC in a week or so after this and got our case numbers and Invoice ID's. I filled out G-325 form, I have never received an email from NVC.  I called NVC last week they said it takes 4 to 6 week.

this is the site that am using to login and it keeps saying that "Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error".

Welcome to the Consular Electronic Application Center – Immigrant/Diversity Visa portal. To access your case, please enter your case number below.

Please do not use the browser’s back or refresh buttons while using the CEAC site. Instead, use the navigation links on the page. You will lose information if you use the browser’s back or refresh button, and will need to log back into the application.

    Please any suggest will help.

  2. Please can someone tell me if I am doing this correctly. I received  the IIN and case number when I called the NVC yesterday. I login into Ceac with the case number and the IIN  and its keeps giving me the information. -----"Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.

    Please advise.

Congrats!! Hopefully we won't be far behind!

Thank you. I hope yours is not far behind as well. I was really getting stress and frustrated with the process, when I saw people that applied in January or February approved before those filled at earlier date. I have called USCIS and I can not believe how rude they sound on the phone, considering that I was asking simple question and was not rude. It seems that a lot has changed, I don't know if they get a lot of call with hostile voice tone. I am happy that our case has been approved, but I was following up with processing dates and  I was going to  try contacting a state rep. or senator to assist.   when we applied I notice previous case months where being transferred out of NSC to other service center like Texas,  then they turn around and send my case to the NSC. I was thinking positively that maybe the work load was decrease in NSC, being the reason they send mines and all others that has been in limbo at NSC. The worst thing is that I live in Texas and sent my application from Texas, why was the application not sent to TCC. Like I said I was stress and frustrated with the process. best of luck.

please if anyone has information to make the NVC process please let me know, hopefully it will not be as stressful

    So

My dear sweet husband writes me this morning.

    "Our case is updated!"

    Nothing more.

My response - When, How, What? Is it approved? LOL

I saw the email too from USCIS. All it says is "Your Case Status = Post Decision Activity" and that our case has been sent to the Department of State for Visa Processing.

Happy happy!!!! Waited very long for this!

I would like to know - why do they say Post Decision Activity? I did not get an approval notice with an NOA2 date, only this. So I'll use this date as my NOA2 date. Correct??

Hoping all other Dec 2016 filers do get approved soon!!

    Congratulations.

Its kind of bitter sweet for me because my Received data was December 27,2016. I hope my case is not like the forgotten ones in November

    again congrats

Maybe they should remove the "humanitarian reinstated law" if they're not favorable in such case for like us. What is the use of it? They only give us false hope but in the end they will reject it.

But im still hoping for the good outcome of our case since its still for review.

    thanks Amaka.

I know its very frustrating even the money spent to apply. Please continue to fight. Keep me posted. Will be praying for good out come for you.

My sis already ask help to senator and they say they will check our case in USCIS. And we will wait for their answer.

By the way, how's ur case goin' on Amaka? Do you continue your case or just leave it?

The state representative stated we have 30 Day to appeal the decision. My lawyer sent the appeal. We have never heard from them. My lawyer suggested we leave it because of Trump presidentency, there has not been favorable outcome in such matters.

  7. Nicole my case is silmular to yours. My dad filled in 2009. He died in 2014. One year before the visa is available. We did humanitarian in 2015. Made many inquiries and finally they wrote us a letter saying the humanitarian was denied based on them not having all the information we sent to them. Tried using the state representative. Just got general information. I know how frustrating.

I'm Dec 6th at Nebraska, too. 😒😒 From what I've seen on the tracker app, a few Dec 6th filers have been approved and a lot we're hit with RFE. Fingers crossed for all of us that our approvals come soon. This wait has been absolute hell.

which tracker are you using? i have an app but not sure how to see what's been approved already? where did you find it?

  9. I was in nigeria in feb, 2010. i used Arikair airline for 2 round trip tickek from lagos to benin and the other trip benin to abuja. the airline is very good. the plane is the same condition or better that u would find in the state. my pilot was caucasian men. the flight attendant are nigerian. the only problem is our flight did not leave on time between 30 to one hour delay. i felt very safe. my relative that have used the airline given them good rating also.

  10. I had been calling DOS since July and August to find out our interview date, and they kept telling me my file is not in Lagos. I had also emailed lagos and they repiled and stated they had no record of my file. NVC stated they send my file on June 23, 2010 to Lagos. So i contacted the congressman office about a week and a half ago and they sent out an inquiry. After the inquiry the congress office request that nvc resend my paper to lagos because lagos had no record of my case and in addition it was long enough time that my paper should have been in lagos. So 2 days ago i called DOS and i was told we have an interview date of 10-08-2010 at 0700. Very happy

  11. hello

i got a letter from the nvc that my petition is approved. i thought i saw 2 other approval for the lagos embassy in june. i thought we can keep track and kind of help each other out. 12. HELLO I GOT A LETTER YESTARDAY FROM THE NVC STATING THAT AN APPROVAL WAS SENT TO THEM FROM USCIS AND THAT THEY WILL FORWARD MY THINGS TO NIGERIA CONSULATE IN ONE WEEK AND THE NIGERA EMBASSY WILL SCHEDULE MY INTERVIEW. I APPLIED FOR 129F ON APRIL 12, 2010 IN THE VSC. I HAVE BEEN CHECKING THE USCIC WEB SITE ALL WEEK AND NO CHANGE IN THE USCIS. THE USCIS SITE STILL STATE IT RECEIVED MY APPLICATION AND IT IS IN THE REVIEWING PART. IT DOES NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT BEING APPROVED OR ANY CHANGE FROM APRIL 16 2010. SHOULD I TAKE THIS AS APPROVAL. IF SO HOW DO I START GETTING READY FOR THE INTERVIEW? WILL THE EMBASSY SEND ME AN EMAIL OR PACKAGE. OR SHOULD I JUST GATHER EVERYTHING I WILL NEED AND AWAIT FOR THEM TO TELL ME THE INTERVIEW DAY. I FOUND THE FORM DS- 156 AND DS 156K AND WE STARTED FILLING IT OUT.

  13. hello

please can someone help me. i filed 1 130 for both my parents in june. i got a rfe today. on the application i was confuse about the question when they ask about date of marriage, because my parent had traditional marriage 33 y.o. and i believed there where no documation to prove that they where married. in march of this year my parent had a church marriage. i included the date of the church marriage as my parents marriage date. my rfe states that i need to sumit a marriage certificate for my parent and that they would have to be married before my 18 y.o. birthday for uscis purpose. if this did not happen than i need to show evidence that i have a relationships with my father such as money order, income tax, insurance, medical report, school record correspondence and affidavits. this is too much because i don't know how to gather all the information by the deadline and i don't know where to start. does anyone know if nigeria traditional marriage is recongnized by the uscis and how do one show that they had a traditional marriage 33 y.o? i plan on calling the rfe line tomorrow. it will not be easy for my to collect the relationship evidence at this point. i will appreciate any advise or any help at this point. my paper also states that blood test alone will not be enough on my father side.
