    Hi everyone, I had my 1485 interview 9th of December and i have not heard any feedback yet. I wanted to find out: 1. for those who had their interviews, how long did it take to get a decision? (field office is San Bernadino) 2. Case tracker is no longer working, how is everyone else getting updates? I called USCIS but they only see what i see on their end too. 3. Because Nigeria was recently included in the travel ban list, does this affect my petition in any way? I am so tired and really need to visit my mom. I haven't seen her in almost 10yrs and i am so homesick, it makes me almost physically ill. The tension is almost unbearable.

    I finished my interview a few hours ago. The officer asked questions about my ex spouse and my current abuser. I was very uncomfortable. My lawyer was able to join via phone call. The officer was happy i did not come with a lawyer and when i showed him the paperwork for them to allow my lawyer virtually, he was not happy about it. My lawyer said he probably wanted to become unprofessional. He asked me if i paid my abuser for marriage green card? When was the last time we lived together, when did i live with my ex spouse etc. before he finally moved on to the yes/no questions. Then he gave me the form checked with (2) A decision cannot yet be made about your application/petition. I don't know what to think? Also, does anyone know if their case tracker is working? Mine is not.

    Hi everyone, i have my i485 interview on Tuesday, my lawyer is unable to attend but they said they will be present virtually (phone). does anyone know what questions i should expect? Do i need to take any tax documents?/ what other documents do i need to take? with this administration and the news about people beig taken from their green card interviews, i am scared (i don't have any removal notices)

    I listened to y'all's advice and contacted my congress person. My lawyer called today that my i485 interview has been scheduled for Dec 9th. Any advice on what to bring to the interview? Thank you so much

    mine is over 90 days too. Vawa was approved since May 15th. going on 6 months now. It's unbelievable

    Thank you for the detailed response. I do have advance parole and decided against using it...too scared so i have been sitting on it. My lawyer filed i360, i485 and i824 concurrently but i do not want to travel without a green card like you rightly stated. I filled out the form and contacted my congress person, hoping to hear back soon (I don't know how long it takes to get feedback) For the info pass, again you are spot on...USCIS simply said 'NO" and just to wait. This platform has helped me keep my sanity after all i endured. You all are amazing people.

    Thanks so much, i have contacted my representative. I am new to the info pass thing. Does it mean i schedule an appointment to know what the status is? Won't they just tell me it's still under review?

    Thank you. When i filed concurrently, the i485 was transferred to vermont and i received the transfer notice. I did call USCIS and they said my service center is San Bernadino. I don't have any paperwork that states that. The last transfer notice i received was july 3rd, 2023.

    Hi folks, i have been on this forum for a while and learnt a lot here. I filed Vawa in 2022 and got approved May 2025 with i485 concurrent filing. I received RFE for medical and it's been 3 months now with no update. How long does it take to get interview or approval? I did reach out to USCIS and they said all i can do is wait. I have not seen my family in 5yrs and really want to travel this year. What can i do?
