It was just yesterday we got our case number and in transit. Now we are ready. Holy Cow this is going fast!! Guess we can apply for our visa now and schedule for interview. I really don't think we need to wait for packet 3 to schedule interview since that is just a paper with instructions. I think we only need confirmation of our interview appointment and visa confirmation number to do medical and then to enter embassy interview. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You don't need it and K1 visa doesn't have an invoice ID because it is process as a non-immigrant visa. So far I don't see any k-1 forms that requires an invoice ID including the DS-160. Just the WAC and the NVC case # is all that is needed.

Lets goo!!! Got this from NVC today through email. We got the case # and is in transit!! NOA2 May 1st 2023.

NVC Received from NVC Inquiry. NOA2: 5/1/2023 55 days Maybe in a couple weeks I will inquire to NVC research and send them a copy of my NOA2.

Base on what I read on here NVC takes 30-60 days to generate a case #. So I would just wait until 30 days pass noa2 to inquire. Then do it once every week after that until you get a case number and invoice ID.
