  1. About to start the process and had a question about "Police Certificates for all countries where the petitioner lived more than 1 year". Other than the certificate from Spain, did you need to do the FBI background check as well? I have one from September, but not sure if its too old now.
  2. They've already drawn me up the contract and all that is left for me to sign it and send it back to them. I thought that that might be enough, but I can try to contact the consulate.
  3. Hello, I have a short notice job relocation offer with a letter and contract. But if I use this letter for my spouse's DCF visa process, am I bound to the job? If I decide to take a different offer, could I have problems? I'm assuming they just use the letter to decide if we qualify for DCF and then it's irrelevant, but I want to be sure.
  4. Hello, I'm U.S. citizen living in Spain with my spouse and I've just received an admission offer to a doctorate program in the United States, which means I need to move back shortly. Does anyone know if an short notice offer for a doctorate program counts as exceptional circumstances/ job relocation offer? Would we be eligible for DCF?
  5. Does anyone know if an short notice offer for a doctorate program counts as exceptional circumstances/ job relocation offer? I'm a U.S. citize living abroad with my spouse and have been given short notice that I will be relocating to the United States for a Phd program.
