Hello! This is similar to what happened to us (see earlier threads). If you sent it in a few days before 2/5/2025, it should have been received by then and you are right that the tracker typically updates anytime there is any movement on your case or someone updates it. My recommendation would be for you to call the Embassy and asked them to confirm receipt of the documents. I did this a couple of times - the hardest thing was finding the right # to call and getting on the line with someone. I wish you the best of luck! The cycle time for them to come back around to us once we had sent in missing documents was about 3 weeks - 1 month but this was in 2023, so I'm not sure how quickly things are operating now.

Hello! They should have told you why it's refused. You just have to provide the additional evidence and send it in with your passport.

Hi Kitchie, Indeed - once we received the medical exam results (around Sep. 3, 2023), we re-submitted this + all documents referenced above to the Embassy. Around 3 weeks later, I checked the online portal and it stated that the visa had been "Issued" Good luck with your process!

Hello, Has anyone here been issued a 221G at the US Embassy in Manila? I'm particularly interested in those who started to go through this process in 2022. Long story short - my spouse's visa interview on Dec. 12, 2022 went well but they asked for the following through the 221G letter: 1) The *original* NBI clearance (we brought in a copy by accident) 2) An upload of my 2021 tax returns to CEAC (we brought in the physical copy but the ones that were approved during the DS-260 process were those for 2020 and thus they asked us to upload the 2021 tax returns to CEAC) We uploaded/submitted this on the day itself via LBC and they arrived (confirmed with the Embassy) on Dec. 14, 2022. I'm hoping that a case like this won't take too long to process (especially since his NBI clearance and medical exam results both expire by the first week of March 2023) - however, have read a lot of 221g horror stories online and would love perspective from someone who's gone through this recently. Please let me know - thanks!
