I told my fiance who is that time talking to Charissa (the cute lady from VJ also) that we are approved I hug him and and give him a light kiss on the lips actually its my way of saying thank you because he is very patient, looking at d board waiting for our number to appear while im chatting with the other applicants to passed the time

  2. Hello everyone,

As i promise here is my medical experience, before my medical day i just stayed home do nothing but rest well....I woke up early in the morning of April 2 because i promise phicha (fellow vj) to meet her outside SLEC but unexpected things happened a water pipe broke at one of the major road leading to MRT station and i got stuck in traffic  grrrrr...

At last I reach SLEC at exactly 7am showed to the guard my appointment letter check my passport and then he gave me papers to sign, every now and then texting phicha where is she and what is she doing because she arrived 2 and half hrs ahead of me

In one of the papers i see a form who look exactly like ds 156k and luckily i have bring my signed ds form so ihave some preferences if needed so u better bring ur ds 156k and i have to text my fiance where is my intended POE?so he called me and told me to write down Houston.

After that they took a picture of me then told me to pay the medical fee and then everything went fast they will tell you what to do and where to go when it was the time for my physical check up i was praying not to be at room 6 because i heard that the lady doctor assigned in there is not so good hehehe and thank God i was told to go to room 8 :D ...so far all are very accomodating and friendly...And at last for the last destination :D hehe.I met phicha at the immunization interview she texted me that she is at the 2nd floor waiting to be interview i ask where at?im here also sitting at the first line of chairs andshe look around i saw her the same time she saw me because we are only 1 chair apart thast funny because im looking at her when she gave her papers to the guard but i didnt remember the color of her clothes and bag because many are wearing pink top but not as cute as her...Alls well that ends well that day we are finish after 3 hours andtold to be back tomorrow for the immunization. We go to Quiapo church and say some prayers then parted ways for that day.

On my second day I arrive at 7:30 am waiting for my name to be called at the releasing area which im wondering because i didnt have my vaccine yet,but i waited anyway because they post outside the glass panel to be patient and wait for your name to be called,4 hours passed before i heard my name telling me to go upstairs for my vaccine :wow: makes me glad because phicha finished hers at 10am then she left said she will have to go to NSO i was left alone :( and after 3 hours horray they called my name again so that i can give to them my 2x2 pics and passport another minute passed they give me my xray film and vaccination record.....yess i passed the medical I dont want to believe untill I didnt have the proof in my hand...Then go to Quiapo church again and give thanks to the Lord.

Now Im waiting for the interview day and very well prepare....Goodluck to everyone who will be having their medical soon :)

    congrats..when ie ur interview?

MY INTERVIEW IS ON APRIL 23 7:30 am...ur 1 day ahead of me thanks and goodluck sa interview mo makakasabay mo si primie and ryan

  3. IT depends on her medical outcome what will the doctor will give her base on my experience the lady doctor at the immunization interview told me that they will give me 2 kinds of vaccines which are MMR and HPV but on my 2nd day they just gave me MMR instead makes me glad it means less pain  ..

She have her options too they will ask her either she will have it here or there in US so need not to worry,as for me i choose to have my vaccines here because i pay big money for that ;)

  6. Hello fellow VJ,

Today is the happiest day of my life  ,we originally filed July last year and our paper was returned late December untouched!! can u imagine the disappointment we felt? and then our petition was sent to VSC which im glad because they process our petition faster than any other processing centers and after 62 days we are approved and now I have an interview date on April 23,my happiness is doubled because my fiance will be here during the interview day what a stroke of luck!! It was

planned before that he will visit me again this year but we didnt know that it will be on time for our big day together....

Im so happy God is so good even if im not that religious person (but I do pray)he listened to my prayers...so to everybody out there who are still waiting for their approval and interview date, just be patient keep on praying everything happens for a reason.

Now Im looking forward to be with the man I love and who love me in return and nothing more I can ask for than to be with him for the rest of our life together with my three children whom he accepted with all his heart.

    WISH ME LUCK :)

  7. Before i write my experience here. Let me thank everyone who posted their suggestions and recommendations. If not for all of these posts, I am not sure if I can make it. Thanks guys this is really a home for those who need help.

By the way, I stayed at the Manila Manor Hotel with my mom. It's just a few steps from robinsons. I did not stay near the embassy because the hotel there is much expensive compared to where we stayed. I just paid 4000 (3 nights) for a superior twin bed, with free breakfast.

I woke up around 3 am and start preparing for the big day. Before I go I called my fiance(Mark) to ask him about his ex gf surname which I really forgot. crying.gif.. Good thing he don't have a class yet and he was able to answer my call and got really inspired upon hearing his voice before going to the embassy.

I took a cab, it cost me P50.00 because the taxi driver did not turn on the meter. He just told me the price ( I don't mind at all because I am super nervous).

When I got there in front, the guard started to call those who have a 6:30am applicants. I got the chance to make friends with a fellow bisaya(from cebu) and talk about what will happen inside. But I did not get a chance to meet felow Vj members there.

Its about 5:45am that we started to fall in line. During this time BE READY WITH YOUR APPOINTMENT LETTER AND A VALID ID. And make sure that you do not have any electronic gadgets. I brought along a bottled water, the guard at the xray section told me to open and drunk a little to make sure that it was really water.

At the waiting area, the guard called the applicants by row to get their queuing number. Be ready with your 2 SETS OF DS 156 & DS 157 and 1 COPY OF DS 156K. Make sure you paid in the bank. I heard that yesterday there was an applicant who was not paid yet.

After that wait for your number to be flashed( not in order) for the pre screening. The lady asked me questions about what we wrote in I129F supplement question no 18. When and where did we meet. How long did he stayed here. Because my fiance just stayed for 6 days i had to explained to her why. The filipina pre screener asked for my NSO birth certificate, CENOMAR and NBI Clearance all original. After that she told me to sit down and wait for finger scanning.

I waited more than an hour before my name was called at window 33 for fs. When I got there the lady at this window was not able to find my application. She even asked me if I heard her called my name. I told her yes you did call me ma'am. I told the filipino assistant that I saw the lady accidetally put a stamp on my appointment letter without having my fingers scanned. He told me to just sit and they will just call me again. can you imagine how nervous I am? lol.

So I went back to the waiting area, and then my number flashed for interview at the consul. So I told the lady who facilitated the interviewees that I had not done my fs yet. She told me to just sit and wait for the my turn. When I got inside I greeted the consul good morning (good thing he replied). When he typed my name he found out that I had not done with my fs yet. He asked me if I did that and I answered no Sir. So he told me to just come back and have my fs before the interview.

After the fs, I had to greet the consul for the second time. He was very nice. He just asked or confirmed the things that were asked by the filipina pre-screener. other questions are how old is my fiance, when was the last time i saw him, where is he working, his age,is he living alone. is he single. am i single...

then he told me to wait outside. I take a look at BENG'S GUIDE. the releasing counter is at window 37. The guy returned the other documents that we submitted at the USCIS ( I had bunch of them) and told: JUST WAIT TILL WE HEAR FROM US. Asked me the receipt of the documents verification and told me to pay delbros......That's all. I am done. Thanks GOD!

    Hi congratulations!!!!!!

  8. ABSOLUTELY NOT !

Hi patiently waiting i just done my interview last january 4,2008 according on my research and read about the advisory website in the US Embassy Philpines regarding police clearance in ABU DHABI this country they are not issuing and processing police record overseas, unless you still presently residing live and work on that country and have there visa but since your visa is been expired already and you exit already back here in the philippines Your safe girl i been working in abu dhabi for 3 years contract way back 1999 t0 2002.The USE All they asked from me is my police clearance in Taiwan since i work there for 1 year 1997 to 1998 thats all they asked from me and nothing else because i been travelling and work Asia and Middle east .Only one police clearance i secured which is the Filipino pre-screener thats all he asked from me and he asked me what is the nature of my job in Abu-Dhabi.Relax girl your fine just keep checking because the US embassy updating there web site every month for your own safety but so far i dont beleive they are going to change right away the law in Abu Dhabi about police clearance just take a look on there website regarding how they categorized about this matter.
