    My husband is here on K3, we went and filed AOS in April 2007. We had AOS interview in July 2007 and was told that they couldnt approve AOS until approval of I130. Our I130 was stuck in name check ( this was filed in 2005). Last week, we went for the interview for an I130 and was told that they would make a decision and notify us by mail. If approved, will they just automatically send the green card? or is there something else we should be aware of?

    Has this ever happened to anybody? It seems that we are going backwards in the immigration process. Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    it happened to me i swear i hate k-3 man. now i had to apply again but this time i am going with i-130 way i know its goona take some time but atleast she will gonna get greeen card right away when she arrive here

    my suggestion to all please be patient and wait for 1-130 never apply for k-3 visa i know i feeel your pain i went thourugh with this

    but for you i say that wait for i-130 approve and then you will gonna get greeen card if your i-485 approved and your interview email me if you want to know more information bye... good luck

    MY PETITION I130 for my 1 1/2 Yr old son and myself Has been approved can any one give me the answers to the following questions

    1)can my husband file Adjustment of status now or when i reach US?

    2)What are the questions that are asked at the embassy ?

    3) how much time is left for me to get an approved visa from Embassy?

    4) since I live in Karachi can they interview me in Karachi? (since it will be difficult for me to travel to Islamabad with my son)

    no dont need to apply for aos your immigrat visa will be your green card inshallah so don't worrry every thing gonna be ok allah is great and in embassy when you get date try to go early in morning and believe me you gonna get visa fast they don't ask much just make sure you have all the documents with you . and third if your petition just got approved i hope it will get processs in next 4 to 6 months inshallah and fourth your interview is gonna be in eslamabad embassy ku kai karachi mai visa naheee milta khaudahafizzzzzzzz

    K-3 like K-1 is a NON-Immigrant visa so has less processing at NVC, making it a bit quicker than CR-1, some prefer to pay the higher fees and deal with the hassles of the K-3 for the quicker visa.

    K-3 has the added pains of adjustment of status ($1010), not being able to get SSN until either having the green-card or EAD card. EAD takes 90 days or more.

    Lately there has been some reporting of USCIS canceling the K-3, if they know that CR-1 is only slightly slower to get than the K-3, I assume that USCIS is trying to avoid additional work associated with K-3 adjustment of status, USCIS is tremendously back-logged right now.

    you are 100% right ..... my friend had a same experience like and you not gonna believe he is waiting for greeen card it's beeen almost 3 years now so k-3 sucks i rather wait for -130.. bye

    hello everyone my name is taina I am new here,but i really want you guys help

    im sure there's someone here in the similar cituation my problem is on october 24th i recieved from uscis

    saying that my case(I485)WAS APROVED ttwo weeks later i got the welcome letter in the mail in the letter they say i

    would be getting the greencard in 3 weeks since then i've been waiting since then still no greencard.

    one thing i dont think they send it yet because they usualy send me an email each time they mail me someting,i dont know if it got lost in the mail i dont know what to think anymore ii've been waiting forever im scared please help

    what do you guys think i should do? everytime i call they never really know what to tell me.its through nebraska center.

    Hope everyone is reading this in good health. I wanted to know if the petitioner attends the interview may that person be in the same room? Does it help even going? Any experience with ISB embassy? Alot of questions i know so do your best I know i do.

    finally uscis has updated the processing time yesterday .their priority date is JULY 19,2007.

    I would like to ask Who already received their NOA2 who filed their k1 visa for the month of

    OCTOBER and NOVEMBER?

    Hi, where did you find that information? I can´t find it in their website. :D

    www.uscis.gov look for processing time on where u have filed your petition.
