  1. ok, Ill replace Nebraska Service Center with National Visa Center.
  2. I have to write a letter for intent to re-establish domicile in the U.S. Here is what I have so far. let me know If I should change anything. my I-797C came from Nebraska, so I am assuming that is where my application is. Do I need to list steps I have taken to maintain US Domicile? I am assuming that I have enough documents for support/ Should I list steps I have taken to return to the US? Nebraska Service Center U.S. Citizenship & Immigration service [my name] Form I-864 Re: Part 4, Question 5: Country of Domicile Beneficiary: [spouse name] I, ____________________, am currently residing in Japan with my spouse, ___________. 3. I think I understand, I just didn't write funny. I submit I-864, my wife provides nothing. My sisters spouse is the co-sponsor (they make more than my sister) and files the I-864 My sister is their household member and files the I-864a I am assuming that she files as spouse in Part 2:1c. since her income is included under her spouses I-864 Should I combine her I-864a pdf with her husbands I-864 pdf or keep all of them seperate? dont mention the house.
  4. I noticed the mistake after I couldn't edit anything. Ok, thank you for the advice. I naturally assumed she had to fill out the I-864a because we are Married filling Jointly. Ill have the higher income be the co-sponsor, and other as household member.
  5. Double checking my I-864 forms, and I just want to make sure everything is correct. I am using a joint sponsor (sister) because my job doesn’t carry over to the U.S. I file Joint tax return with my wife, My sister files a joint tax return with their spouse. I would file the I-164 as the sponsor, My sister would file the I-164 as the only joint sponsor. My wife would file the I-164a as the sponsors spouse. My sisters spouse would file I-164 as Other dependent (___ in Law) steps 1. print out the forms, and sign them. 2. my sister sends me their signed I-164 and I-164a, along with their 2022, 2021, and 2020 IRS tax transcripts. 3. I scan in the forms along with their tax return. By the end I should have 4 pdf files, 1 pdf for each I-164 with tax returns, along with all original documents. Questions I-164 Part 6 # 7. "My current individual annual income" this would be the amount on their W-2 # 8 Person 1: This would be my sisters spouse, and the income listed on their W-2 # 20 "My current annual household income" this would be the adjusted gross income on the Tax return. My wife has been unemployed for the last 4 years. Do we need to submit local tax documents showing she has been unemployed? We are still waiting for the I-130 approval. This means that we don’t have an Alien registration number or a USCIS online account number. Would there be any issue if I manually wrote them on the forms when we have them, and then scan them to pdf? My sister recently had her house appraised for a new loan. Should we include it under part 7 for Assets to Supplement Income”? Her and her spouses combined income is more than 125% of the poverty guideline. I have been using a family's US address for mailing purposes on my tax returns. Will this cause any problems? Are there any other supporting documents that should be included, like W-2, or pay stubs to help make sure it is accepted?
  6. Ok, thank you for the clarification. right now she has no records for any of her vaccinations needed the medical exam. We made an appointment to get an antibody test at a local hospital. She will be getting new vaccinations for everything that does not show up on the test.
  7. I have 1 year left on my work contract. My work will not renew it, or negotiate an extension. I am searching for a new job but have yet to find anything that can support my family. technically I could move back to the US by my self but Due to medical and family reasons, I am the only support my wife has, and leaving her is not an option. we didn't plan our life around the best case scenario. We were planning on staying longer, but my work had other plans and didnt tell me until just recently. I have been filing my taxes yearly, and will be submitting the IRS transcripts with my I-864. My wife will also be filling an I-164a since we have been filing married filling jointly. We also have records of her local taxes here for the past 3 years. Ive talked with my joint sponsor, they are MFJ. all of their paperwork is filled out, just waiting for them to complete this years taxes before they sign everything. What supporting documents would they need besides their tax returns?
  8. I new they asked about her education, but didnt know they need the transcripts. Do we need to go back all the way to High school, or would just College be ok? Her father had her shot record, but they dont have a friendly relationship. We are trying to see if he still has them, If not then she will be getting the shots again. I am assuming everything needs to be translated.
  9. I looked, Nebraska has an average of 285 days between NOA1 and NOA2. Ive read that the transfer between the cervice center and the consulate can take about 4 weeks. The Tokyo Embassy has an average of 123 between NOA2 and the Interview. I also read that it can take up to 30 days to hear back from the Consulate about the decision. there are about 517 days between the time I submitted and April 1st. 517-(285+28+123+30)=51. this is assuming that I am close to or below average time, that everything is approved first time, and that there are no requests for more information. Is 51 days enough time to get the paperwork needed for my wife to move to the US in April? I guess I am also looking for advice or info on how to make sure there are no mistakes and that everything is accepted and no extra information is needed.
  10. The I-797c notice was from the nebraska service center. i was assuming thats who got the paperwork. Is there a way to find out for sure? We have 2 dependents, both have CRBA and U.S. passports. the I-130 petition is for my wife only. I have a joint sponsor for the I-864. all I-864 paperwork is filled out. I have been looking through the forums here to make sure everything is correct. we also set money aside for the fees. ill talk to my wife and get the Korean PC.
  11. We are living together in Japan. yes, i meant police checks. we would need one for Japan, and Korea. the korean one was for a temporary job she had shortly after high school.
  12. I submitted the I-130 form in October. I submitted electronically and it went to the Nebraska office. the wait time is about 10 months. this puts her approval around September. My current work contract ends in March 20224. we have almost all the information ready for the IV and AOS packets. only thing we don't have ready is the Background checks. would there be any issue if I tried to get those now or within the next couple of months? What are the chances that my wife will have her green card and be able to fly to the US by April 2024?
  13. Ive seen posts with long lists of evidence for bona fide relationships. I already submitted the I-130, but reading some of the posts makes me question if I should have added more evidence. I submitted our Marriage certificate, C.R.B.A. certificates for our two children, and we have had the same address for the last 4 years. She also took my last name after we married. Should I have submitted more? I have plenty of pictures, and an apartment contract with our names on it that I can technically submit.
