Looks like I got confused because the guideline mentioned proof of meeting within the last two years and ongoing relationship. I reread through the I-129F instructions, and indeed it is only asking for proof of having met within the last two years. thank you everyone!

Hi everybody, I was having a hard time searching for an answer in previous threads and was hoping someone could provide some advice. I want to submit chat logs as additional evidence of a bona fide relationship. Although my fiancé speaks English, about 90% of our messages are in Japanese. If I were to submit these logs would a translation of the entire conversations be necessary? Or can I not provide a translation and merely use the chat log as evidence of communication over the period of time of our relationship? Thank you!
