My lawyer inquired some time ago but it was still considered in the normal processing time. I considered calling my congressman but never did because our inquiry date wasn’t too much longer. And now finally we have been approved just a few weeks before our inquiry date. I’m so happy and relieved! It has been such an unusually long wait. We were in the bottom 1-2% of filers for May 2022.     So there is another thread that you should really follow for all of that info.  This thread is for December 2022 filers still waiting for their NOA2, most of them won't have the answers for you.

     

    I suggest you go find the thread NOVEMBER 2023 K1 to NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY and ask all of those questions there.  This will help you a lot!  And secondly, try to find a thread for your country's embassy, they can help you with specific things to do once your case becomes READY.

    The next correspondence will be a k1-ftp letter (welcome letter) emailed as an attachment to the petitioner once the case is in transit to the embassy.

     

    NVC only ships cases out to the embassies every 2 weeks.  Last time was Nov 21 & 22.  Next time will be Dec 5 & 6.  So hopefully you'll be in the next batch to ship out this week.  Good luck.

    You should be able to get it by now.  Go ahead and inquire.  I inquired on the 14th (14 days after NOA2) and got my case number on the 17th.

    It seems to be very quite here. 😊

    The same sheet will be updated when they can. The 16th was the last time. If you refresh it occasionally then you will eventually see new info. (The same author has sheets for November and for December.) 
     

    Otherwise, no I am not following October cases… we are December.

    NOA2 is a big relief but there’s a lot of work to do to keep things smooth. And I want to encourage those waiting for their NOA2 that their time will come. We initially thought our NOA2 would come in January 2024.
