  1. Hi. I waited almost 2 years and I was finally able to attend to interview last week. Unfortunately I received 221g letter because they needed my Indonesian birth certificate. I am South Korean citizen but I was just born in Indonesia and grew up there. Both of my parents are South Korean When I was born in Indonesia my parents got Indonesian birth certificate from the hospital my mom gave birth and submitted straight to South Korean Embassy in Indonesia. My Korean birth certificate clearly says I was born in Indonesia but US Embassy still wanted me to submit Indonesian birth certificate I called the hospital I was born and asked if they can reissue my birth certificate but because they clear records every 5 years they told me my birth information was no longer available. I asked for a letter saying that since they clear information every 5 years I can't obtain birth certificate. However, they were asking for a proof I was born at that hospital which my parents and I no longer have. What can I do....? Regards,
