Yup, my home country embassy did not send out the NOS until July 2022, or so they claimed 🤷‍♂️

I gave up checking for FR after checking almost every day since April 2022. Then I found out last week a lot of progress happened after I decided not to check anymore ☺️ My timeline: April 7, 2022 - DS-3035 Package Received by DOS September 13, 2022 - NOS Received by DOS October-December 2022 - Emailed DOS 4 times, received standard reply from DOS January 3-10, 2023 - Contacted Congressman to send inquiry on the basis of 'out of processing time' and received standard reply from DOS February 01, 2023 - Favorable Recommendation February 08, 2023 - Form I-612 accepted by USCIS February 09, 2023 - Form I-612 received at another USCIS office

No, I'm on F1-OPT, exp Sept '23. I'm starting to worry I won't get FR until then.

Exact same timelines as you NOS sent the same date and email Congressman the same date. What visa status are you currently on? It seems if you are currently on J1 visa, DOS would manage your case based on your current J1 visa expiration date.

I have the same exact timeline as you - emailed congressman the same date as well. Received the standard "we will process FIFO" response 😭
