  1. Congratulations!!! Thanks for the detailed response it helps a ton! The long wait is so so worth it in the end! Congrats again to you both!
  2. Hopefully you'll receive an interview date soon! We are still waiting for NVC to schedule an interview as well. I'm petitioning for my husband. All documents were DQ'd a few days ago. I was just wondering how long it may take for an interview to be scheduled. Hopefully sooner rather than later!
  3. Oh wow congrats!! I just saw your update here! So how was your husband's interview? I'm waiting for NVC to schedule an interview for my husband. I'd love to hear an update with the interview process. Congrats again!
  4. Congrats!! How were you able to transfer embassy and expedite your interview date at the embassy?
  5. How did the interview go for your husband? Any updates? Did your husband schedule an interview directly with the consulate or did you all wait for NVC to schedule an interview? How long did it take from documents accepted by NVC to the interview being scheduled? I'm waiting for NVC to schedule an interview. How did everything go?
  6. Thanks for the reply. My situation is similar this is helpful, my documents were accepted as well. How long after acceptance did NVC schedule an interview with the consulate? Were you able to contact your consulate and schedule an interview or did you wait for NVC to schedule an interview?
  7. For my foreign income I filed taxes as foreign income but I have compensation statements that show the amount equivalent to US dollar so I used that amount each year to file my taxes and paid whatever owed that way. So for the 3 previous years my salary shows on my tax transcripts as the US equivalent which meets the income requirements and I have documentation as proof. As for current income I've added retirement accounts and Bank statements as assests which is 5x the difference of my annual income and poverty guideline( I read that assets needed to be 5x the difference). I'm hoping that is enough. The foreign income should count since I filed taxes each year using the equivalent US dollar amount and that shows on my transcripts. As well as statements from my employer showing equivalent US dollar amount each year. I thought to wait and submit everything after starting my job in January but I'm also thinking to just submit everything and include my offer letter, assets, and go from there. Then should I submit i864a after starting my job in January? Any thoughts??
  8. I filed I130 online also but where can I find my USCIS online account number because I can't find it anywhere.
  9. I'm sponsoring my husband but my current annual income doesn't meet requirements, but I start a job in the states in January that meet income requirements. Previously worked abroad and my annual salary for 2022 is above income requirements but since I stopped my job in July and moved back to states I did not earn the entire year salary making my current annual income lower than required. Should I put my annual salary from 2022 (above required amount to sponsor) or just the total amount earned in 2022 which is lower than required since I ended contract in July and moved back state side? I have been unemployed in states since July but I start a new job in January which will meet income requirements, not sure if this will be an issue. I'm including tax transcripts from last 3 years which show meeting income requirements from last 3 years as well as documents explaining job starting in January and what my salary will be in January. It's just the current income that that is lower. Should I include anything else, maybe a letter explaining my circumstances?? Will my current annual income or being unemployed since July be an issue even with documentation on new job??
  10. How many 2 x 2 passport photos should I upload? The NVC asks for images and documents to be combined into one single document so should I upload one pdf or jpeg with 2 identical passport photos side by side? Or should I just upload one passport photo? What did you all upload for the photographs section 1 photo or 2 photos side by side for DQ?
  11. You should wait for something explaining that your documents are documentarily qualified. Hooefully sooner than later. My question is how many 2 × 2 passport photos did you upload? I know the beneficiary should take two to the interview, but should 2 also be uploaded online front and back? Or you uploaded only one? I might make a thread with thks question but thouhht id ask.
  12. Thanks. I've emailed nvc to explain and ask for address change and embassy location change. I'm not sure if i should email the embassy yet since everything is still at nvc and I'm still uploading documents.
  13. I am petitioning my husband and our case is at NVC stage, but my husband has a different address from when I submitted petition. Should i submit address change through uscis site or is there a way to submit address change through ceac or both? Also how to request change of interview location because my husband is in different country from when i applied. I haven't finished submitting documents for nvc yet but just noticed we have to do address change. Quote
