Can somebody tell me the address of the embassy in Islamabad that your suppose to submit your passport too?

What is the rush? Don't get married on the first visit. See if you like each other first in person and get to know each others families. Do more than one visit in person. Get engaged in person first. Have the celebration, take lots of pictures. Then apply for the K1 and get married in the US with her friends and family around and with the white dress and all. The K3 takes a long time and you may never see each other again and end up in divorce.

Are you kidding me? Just when you think you know what cosulates are thinking they change the rules. How can you telll somebody to marry first time or not? Bottom line is if they love each other enough they will get through anything weather they get denied or not. If you have bonifide relationship you will get here. Maybe first time you not get here. There are no rules. Dont get married on first visit blah blah blah dont you know they figuring out what you saying and what people doing. I been involved with person I thought that loved me but got denied. YOu know what,maybe they were right. Trying to beat the system. Good job, maybe let it be. If you know what i mean.

Wat does it matter, vacation trips for wedding arent real..expectations in marriage is both parties are mature peaceful and responsible, respectful in thier roles once when realitY of married life(after the cultural shock) is assumed. getting to know or see them is not really getting to know and see them, this is why so many arranged marriages work out so well.. In other words CASA can shove thier assumptions and requirements if this is one.

well i hope it real for me. If not my husband gets his head cut off for marrying american. At least that is what they said yesterday. Head 500 feet away from his home. Thats what i would think. Sometimes i wonder if we giving advice to wrong poeple/ Making it so hard for consulates to decide. Sorry but we don't really know. I've been on other side. Thinking he loved me. We really dont know what they see. I know in some cases they are wrong. They are not god. But most cases get resolved if they love each other.

I was in the neighborhood and stopped by and sat down to read the Boards on the

V/J forums. Despite my absence I wanted you to know that you guys cross my

mind periodically. What I found has me somewhat dumbfounded because I see so

many names on the boards that I am not familiar with, and that is good. It tells me

that Visajourney.com continues to flourish vigorously in enrolling new members. I

am sad however, that names so familiar to me are missing. I will address that below.

Nothing happening with me, just chilling and thinking of all you guys this dreary

I read this from another post and I really dont know if this works or not. What if you put your social security number at the top of each paper you fax to them? I had heard that government agencies must handle it in a different way if the social security number is on a paper. I am really not sure of it and dont know if you want to do that anyway but it is just a thought. Maybe it will force them to put it in your file and maybe not. Good luck

I was denied for K-3 visa and the Consular Officer told me that the petition will be returned to NVC for proper disposition and she said that it will be revoke soon, she said that we can appeal directly to NVC but i don't know that we need to have an action right away for an appeal we did it but i think its too late, so if the petition returned to NVC and it will be null and void, somebody knows when we can refile a new one? and its possible to refile? ANY ADVICES WILL BE APPRECIATED..thanks in advance....have a great day!!!

Hopefully you know why they denied your k-3 so you can address it on your next petition to the uscis. I think you need to cancel out your denied k-3 then reapply. Or you can hang tight and wait for your" Notice Of Intent to Deny letter " and send in your proofs then so you won't have to reapply.

So where are you supposed to send your proof? USCIS wont tell u anything>......

Well I am only going by what i read on vj. Maybe others can comment on this. From what I have read USCIS sends you a NOID letter and you have so long to respond to it and send your proof. Awhile ago mine was also sent back to USCIS and I contacted an imigration lawyer and she told me to send the proof to them weather I got a NOID letter or not. I never got a chance to do this so I dont know if this works or not. Maybe contact an imigration lawyer that can give you some better information on what to do. Good Luck

The "NOID" is a letter you get from the service center once the case is sent back to it. If it's still at the embassy I would try to provide them more proof of a bonified marraige if you can. Maybe fax them letters that are notorized from your family and spouses family that it is a true marriage. Anything you can think of to keep it there so it doesnt get sent back. You can also contact your representive for help to.

I think that's called direct consular filing (DCF). You have to be a resident for 6 months atleast in the country and then you can send in an I130 at the consulate. I don't know how long it takes to process but in the end you'll have to go through the interview and everything all over again.

I recall reading in a posting in this forum about how if a US resident were to go to Pakistan and have residence of 6 months that they would be able to take their spouse to the Embassy and get her visa then and there so that they could travel. Of course i have numerous questions and I can't seem to find that post (it was an early one i think). Can we look into that. My wife and I have been on AP for 15 months. The 16th month will begin Nov 3rd (counting since her interview in Islamabad) This is a huge decision to make even if it is possible but as time continues, it may be the only option. It's so frustrating not knowing anything. We pray and hope that it'll end. With every day a new hope but it really is heart wrenching to not know.

Please if someone has any information on this matter, do reply. If it is an option, would that mean we would have to terminate our applied Visa and base our visa on that Residential stay. From what i remember it wouldn't just be a visit of 6 months, but rather a residency stay which must be documented most likely by the police whatever other things come along with it.

The only thing with DCF is you need to keep a place of residence in the USA and also most likely have a co-sponcer.

Im going to Pakistan soon and they only usually have gas stove tops to cook on no ovens. This is what i am bringing.

tea bags and coffee bags

coffee mate

powder milk

pasta roni ( i opened it and put 3 boxes of it in one)

2 soup starters mixes

rice side dishes in the envelope

chrystal light powder mix for bottled water

candy(watch out they dont melt in your suitcase if its hot there now)

I just mostly and bringing powdered stuff you can add water too to make something out of it.
