    as long as your interview is scheduled 2weeks+ from ready date just say you received letter. London letter famously goes missing/ takes weeks to show up

    yup, i believe phillipines is maybe 1-2 months for interview so should have VOH in under a yr as long as nothing hits a snag As to what to do, I would find groups for Philippine beneficeries or watch guides on YT. Phillipines account for like 50% of k1 applicants so should be a lot out there

    just to be clear, this is USCIS stage and is same for all beneficeries. After this is NVC (one month) then embassy which varies greatly from weeks to months.

    I was a student as well (although beneficiary). I would put down student or NA. As another user said, they won't look at job/income yet. It's not a requirement at uscis stage. Job history is actually to run background checks on both of you, not to assess your worth.
