I am hired by Japanese company ( my home country is Japan ) and the purpose of the visit is to visit distillery that the company I work for deal with, I will not get paid or work remotely. it will only be a week stay max.

I never traveled to USA for business purpose in the past.

In what circumstance people would be given an expedited removal and 5 year ban ?

I have visited him twice this year but I was never taken to an another room. ( probably because duration of my visit was only a week both times ) But the next visit will be after we submit K1, so I should expect to be questioned and taken to another room.... Thank you for sharing your experience!

yes ESTA can be used for Business Travel. My fiancé do not have to re-apply if I get denied entry while K1 is pending ? I am just concerned about the worst case scenario, if I get denied entry, what is going to happen to the K1 visa petition.

not to work remotely. I work for a company that imports whisky, so I may have to visit one of the distilleries or to attend exhibition. I just want to ask what happens if I get denied entry while my K1 visa is pending. Do I need to re-file for K1 visa? I only have ESTA.

Hello, me and my fiancé is about to file for K1 visa. since the processing time is long, we plan to visit each other during the processing time.and I have a job that requires business trip to USA. so I might have to travel to usa for work too while my K1 petition is ongoing. My question is, what happens if I get denied entry on ETA while K1 is pending ? do we need to withdraw the ongoing K1 petition and re-file again ? or can keep the ongoing K1 petition ?

thank you. we are thinking of CR1 but if we were to go for that route, we need to wait until next time to meet to get married and then change name and paperwork etc for me. so thats another 5~6 months, so we are trying to file K1 for now. thank you.

I am worried that our K1 visa might get denied. I am a Japanese citizen 29, my fiance USC is 27. we are long time friends from college when I was an exchange student in USA 8 years ago. we have always been good friends, and while he was going through a divorce last year we reconnected and began growing feeling for each other. after his divorce was finalized in January this year, I decided to visit him in April, we decided to start our relationship. I visited him September again, we got engaged. due to my work schedule I could not stay more than one week at a time. Japan was still closed cos covid so he couldn't visit me. we are about to file our K1 visa and our immigration lawyer says our case is an easy case since we have known each other for very long time, but I am still very worried because of his past and the timeline. I have never been married before and no criminal record. His previous marriage was with a foreigner now USC ( she was in usa on student visa then they got married) and they have a kid together. anyone who was in a similar situation was me and visa granted ? I cannot picture a life without him so Im getting worried as time goes by....
