  1. Hello. I have a question on the DS-260 visa application form. When filling out the previous employments section in the DS-260 immigration visa application form, is it a huge problem if I forgot to include a 2-month long summer internship that took place ~9.5 years ago (still within the 10-year period)? Does anyone have any idea about what to do in this case? Thanks in advance.
  2. Hello. I have a question about DS-260 visa application form. After submitting the DS-260 form, do we ever need to update it every 6 months? I heard from a friend that it is supposed to be updated every 60 days. Didn't know it, and wanted to check with you folks here. Thank you.
  3. Hello everyone. I have a question and I'd like to ask for your opinions. Does having a traffic ticket in the US make any negative effect on my visa interview? Is it a problem? I have two traffic tickets (for speeding etc.) from 2010 and 2015. I would feel bad if they negatively influence my visa interview in any way. Does anyone have similar experience or knowledge on this? Thanks in advance.
  4. I heard before that it is not easy to transfer an interview to a different consulate. I heard from two people whose requests were denied. But each case is different, and it doesn't mean they deny every request. As long as the conditions are met. Regarding where you can find which consulate is better, that information does not exist. Most consulates don't announce the dates they are interviewing, how many people are waiting in line, how fast they are processing, etc. So we don't know. One might transfer and end up in a line where things are worse. Who knows.
  5. @SirinO Hello. Welcome to the group. Congratulations on your petition. There are similar people like you, at least I know 1 person who has March 2023 DQ date. However, please know that the visa interview wait time for employment-based visas is ~24 months after being DQ. 1 person has just had his interview, and he had been waiting for 22 months after being DQ. I know this is a long wait time, but unfortunately it is the case for the US embassy in Ankara.
  6. Does anyone help me understand the Final Action Dates chart in the visa bulletin? Yesterday EB2 ROW retrogressed to 15 Feb 2022. Can anyone let me know if this chart effects those who are DQ'ed and waiting for interview appointment? Or does the final action date is only for those in the US who are going to do AOS? THank you.
  7. @Damiores You are right. It could be that much, considering the number of waiting people. let's hope things speed up on our advantage.
  8. @Damiores That case you mentioned might be just an exception. There are officially more than 761 people in the employment-based category waiting to be interviewed. The table is from an official court document. Not so great timeline for those waiting in Ankara post.
  9. @Damiores No I have not received the IL yet. And seems like it will be a while. Check out this table below:
  10. Hi @KDEE sorry to hear that. I totally understand your situation as I'm also in a similar situation. May I ask what is your priority date and also your DQ date?
  11. It was September 2022. NVC is pretty quick to process documents. May I ask where on Facebook did you see 8 months? Is it for EB cases in Ankara post? I'd like to take a look at that Facebook page so I appreciate if you could provide the link. Thanks.
  12. Hi @Sevil Can you please let us know what the interview was like? Medicals, interview process, questions, etc. It would give us some ideas as there isn't current information for the Ankara post. Thank you. @Damiores Sevil's case gives us that information, it is about 18 months. Quite long, unfortunately. I'm waiting since 2022. What is your DQ month/year?
  13. Hello. I am wondering about it too. Unfortunately there aren't much information for Ankara in this forum to get an idea of how long the wait is between the DQ and Interview. I wish there was.
  14. @muzaffer28 When you say "from the ones here", who do you exactly mean? As far as I know, there are not many people that are waiting to interview in Ankara embassy, so statistics is not great. I've heard that it takes over a year for Ankara to get an interview. It is about 2 years for different embassies, such as the one in Canada. So, yes it is likely to take quite long. Please correct me if I am wrong. Do you know of anyone whose interview timeline is shorter (for Ankara embassy)?
  15. I am DQ'ed about 2 months ago, I don't know when the interview will be scheduled. There is no timeline information on the Ankara embassy. What type of visa did you apply? Can you give your timeline?
  16. @Leeching Spouse Sorry to hear about the declined request. Just to note that expedite requests are considered by the embassy, and NVC just forwards the decision. Most expedite requests are declined, but again it is totally up to the embassy.
  17. @LMIV congratulations. Glad to hear. May I ask a question about your timeline? You mentioned it's been 4 years, is that the timeframe for the whole petition-to-interview? How long was the timeframe from being DQ'ed and your interview? Also, as an EB1, did you have a job offer or NIW? Anyway, congrats again.
  18. Hi @Tiabeanie , sorry to hear! Each case is different, so each timeline will be different. I know you asked for the average timeline, perhaps some other person with better statistics knowledge can provide it. May I ask what the 212g paperwork asks for? I mean what documents/information are you asked to provide other than the required documents? Thanks, and good luck friend.
  19. Hi @Zandi, can you please let us know your DQ date, home country (where IL is scheduled) ? THank you.
  20. Sounds great! Okay, I can then provide the attorney's address when asked. Thanks a lot.
