Hello, Me and my wife entered United States on December 2022 on IR5. After 90 days I received my Green card by mail and her card is still showing in process on USCIC website. Today we received a letter called ASC Appointment Notice- can someone explain what is this and I did not receive any letter.

can a green card holder stay abroad more than 6 months but less than a year? Or no more than 6 months?

I am so sorry for the confusion. I meant that they are traveling here to the US for 7 days (their ticket to the US a round trip). I am asking if its risky to have a round trip instead of one way because this will be their first time entering the US. Thank you!

My parents got their Immigration Visa recently- late November. They are planning to come over next month (Jan 2023) Is it risky to book a round trip for them duration of a week because they still have some ties overseas? Thank you,
