  1. Thankyou so much! I filed the form AR-11 without making my USCIS account. Should I make one now? Would the address get updated there.. Regards.
  2. Hello, I am a permanent resident and moved to a different state after marriage. I forgot to change my address at the USCIS and just recently submitted the AR-11 form online. I did receive a successful submission mail but its been more than one month and no further email after that. I was able to get hold of a customer representative after I called USCIS and they couldn't see any such update. They asked me to wait until its been a full month and see. Its been more than one month and I am planning to sponsor my husband for permanent residency as well. My question is 1. If my address doesn't get updated before filling sponsorship for my husband would It cause problems? 2. Should I mail the AR-11 form physically to the USCIS so that the changes can be made. Would appreciate any insight.
  3. hello everyone, my husband is an international medical graduate and has completed his J-1 waiver requirement in an underserved area. he wants to apply for a marriage based green card. My question is 1. Does he need to have a form from the employer specifically stating that he has successfully completed his J-1 waiver? ps: he has a form stating that he has been employed for X amount of time. In addition he also has his W-2/ tax return forms from his employment. Can these documents suffice as well? would be grateful for any input
  4. also, does anyone here know/has had experience with immigration lawyer 'Carl Shusterman'. I have heard good things about him online.
  5. Right, so my husband did have a lawyer who he didn't actually work with but who knew his case, and some of her advices turned out to be true. In that case is it better to go with that lawyer or should we find someone else. p.s my husband always stayed in the US legally and worked legally as well. very grateful for all this input.
  6. yes my husband is currently employed on an H-1 visa in the US. He has completed his JI- waiver requirement.
  7. I am a green card holder. I am want to sponsor my husband who is a doctor. He came to the US on a J1-waiver but due to some issues he had to complete his waiver in 2 different states with a year's gap between them. I am looking for a really good lawyer who has had experiences in these kind of cases to file for my husbands immigration. Thanks
