  1. I have had multiple B1/B2 visas (had them since 1990 up until 2015). Foolishly I let the last one expire since I was in the US studying on a J1. After the J1 program (2012-2021) ended I returned to my home country. I have been working there ever since. I have a job letter and a bank account reflecting the payments from my home country. Do you think that these are not sufficient?
  2. Hello all, I filled out my DS-160 application for a B1/B2 visa in August 2021. I booked an interview appointment at the time for October 2022, at my country of citizenship. In June 2022 I became a Canadian PR, moved to Canada and have been living there since then. In October, I will be travelling to my home country for the US tourist visa interview. There is a question in the DS-160 about being a permanent resident of other countries which at the time of filing (August 2021) I was not. I currently live and work in Canada, but I also have a job in my home country. I have bank accounts in Canada, the US and home country as well. Is it recommended that I fill out a new DS-160 form with my new status as Canadian PR and use it for the interview? Is it still okay that I attend this appointment in my home country? (I believe so, my passport is from that country, but just would like to confirm). Thank you for your time!
