  1. Hi! I'm an Indonesian who holds an Indonesian passport and a US green card. We have plans to go to Japan sometime end of this year. Do I need to apply for a visa to enter Japan?
  2. Yes, you are correct. So does it mean I need my previous civil surgeon to refill latest I-693 form?
  3. So, I need to go back to my previous civil surgeon and ask her again to re-fill the latest I-693 form and bring my previous I-693?
  4. Here, they are below. I did my first I-693 in late August 2024 with my AoS application. But they rejected it because I put the wrong fee on the form, so they brought all of my documents that I sent to them back to my house. Hence, I need to reapply my AoS but without filling I-693 at the beginning of October 2024.
  5. Yes, all vaccinations are completed on I-693 on my last appointment with the civil surgeon last year. Right now, USCIS does not have my latest I-693 because I haven't go back to the civil surgeon again after my last rejection.
  6. Hi everyone! I just received my letter of notice from USCIS, and I have a scheduled interview for next month. They said I need to bring my Medical Record Form (I-693), Affidavit of Support (I-864), and other documents. My questions are: - I did my medical check-up right before I got my K1 Visa in my origin country, and I did my medical check-up too once I arrived in the USA after I married my husband using I-693 form. But the last time I sent all of my AoS documents (I-693 included), they rejected my files because I put the wrong number of fee for that, hence, they sent all of the documents back to me. So, do I need to go back to do Medical Record again? - Do I need to bring the latest I-864 form and its supporting documents too? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Thanks in advance! Gabriela
  7. yes that post. owh that it totally misunderstood, sorry. So yaaa I lost 35 days in the past, but thankfully I did resend immediately and they sent my NOA1 in 7 days, and have a biometric appointment at the end of October.
  8. to all: make sure you put THE RIGHT NUMBER on how much you must pay for AoS or other forms. One of the members in here said to put "FINE" on the payment form, but they REJECTED my case because I didn't put the right number. So, I'm wasting 35 days and I need to resend the AoS form again. Make sure you all put the right number of money, and check the latest information about how much you need to pay.
  9. Hi guys hope you are doing well! as my title mentioned, I already waited for 30days (since the documents received at USCIS office in Phoenix) but I havent got news/ email/ texts from them to get my NOA1 yet. How long I need to wait normally just to get a NOA1? Do you guys any have recommendation, what should I do? thank you in advance!
  10. Oww, I wonder... How much must we pay for the AoS form, travel permit form, and working permit form (Combo Card)? Do we only pay $1440 on the G-1450 form? Or do we need to put in a total of each cost form? From my experience, I just got added to my husband's bank account, and the banker just needs my passport, K1 visa number, and marriage certificate. I can use my husband's last name too on that account. Maybe after I receive the SSN from filling AoS form, we will update my SSN to the bank again.
  11. July 10th, 2024 okaay noted guys @powerpuff @Crazy Cat. Thanks
  12. do I need to apply for SSN too along with my AoS documents? or do separate?
  13. I did and it was confusing, so I shared our confusion here. But, thanks
  14. Too late and even the civil surgeon didn't tell us that we did not need to do that again. I did my research that I supposed to be no need for a medical exam, but somehow she said that I need to do it :')
  15. Okay, so we assume that we just submit 485, 693, and 684? Send all of those files at once? Is that correct? What is VJ?
  16. How do I know that we need to fill out the I-130 form? Because on the USCIS website says that "Most people who apply for a Green Card will need to complete at least two forms—an immigrant petition and a Green Card application". One of them is the I-130 form, so I just assume we need to fill out that form beside the I-485 form.
  17. Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. I would like to ask and reconfirm about the AoS form. So, we got our marriage certificate, proof of the photos of our wedding, I just had a medical exam test last week, and my husband just added me to his bank account. The questions are: We are still working on I-130, I-485, I-693, and I-684 forms. All of these are correct to fill out the AoS paperwork? If not, please enlighten me. If all of those are correct, do we need to send all of the documents at once OR we can fill out the I-130 online first, once got approved we can send all of the rest of the documents at once? Do I need to apply I-765 also? Another thing, we live in Alabama. Looking forward to hearing from you all soon :). Gabriela
