Hi,
I am ready to send my wife's I-751 document to remove conditions. As I need to provide proof's, I was thinking to get affidavits from my friends. The question I have is do I need to get these affidavits notarized?
Thanks for the replies...

Hi,
I am applying to remove conditions on the green card. In visajourney posts I read that once the I-751 document is submitted to USCIS, the NOA document sent automatically extends the green card by one year.
My question is during this time after receiving the NOA, if we need to leave the country for a trip can we do that? How long the whole process of removal of conditions is going to take for VSC?
Thanks,

hey guys now that i am back home in US i would like to take this time to review how the interview went , in chennai.. since i was there with my husband
it was on july 28th at 8am
we stayed at crystal residency in chennai
it was ok excpet for the fact when the lights went out at night and it was HOT!!
but anyways we got to the counsulate line at 745am
they make you stand outside
then when we got to the counter and my husband showed his appt letter and passport
i did the same, they gave me a hard time to let me in.. then finally let me in with him
as soon as we entered my husband got called to the window so we walked to the window
the indian officer looked thru our file
asked to see our album, she said she liked it
asked if it was love marriage
asked if i filed my tax returns
she made my husband sign part 2 of ds230
asked me how long i am visiting for then asked us to sit down
we sat back down at 810am
then at 12 we were called up by the american officer
the first question we were asked was "when did you get here"
i said july 24th, i took 2 weeks off from work.. she said oh you must be jet lagged
then went thru our file
she asked my husband how did we meet
we told her we have some phone cards emails and albums shes like no i dont need to see anything i trust u
she took my husbands finger prints
then she said ok i am confident u wilget ur visa but i need additional time to review your case of 4-6 weeks and gave us a b lue paper 221 g
she said oh im sure ur friends missed ur wedding, i saidya we have a reception planned, she said oh good! u can eat lots of cake... and smiled
she was nice and we thought we had it
but oh well gues more waiting for me....
hope this review helps
oh she did look at some of our pics which we submited thru vfs... those were already in her file....
we got our originals back
so right now we r in AP
Did she keep his passport? what is this AP for? job or marriage? mine was for job background
we have noclue what AP is for, they did not say.. when i called DOS they said they do not have that info...

Congrulations...
May i ask you, if your wife can share her interivew experience. My husband has interview on Aug 27 at Mumbai..
Thank You So much....
Bani
Well she had like 15 minutes of interview. She was asked like :
1. How did you meet your husband?
2. For how long?
3. Photos of the marriage and also other photos with my Father in Law etc.
4. They did not ask for any emails, chat or phone calls. But my wife had them ready just in case.
5. Where is she working?
6. Where am I working?
7. I was married before, so they asked her where I was married before and about my divorce.
Thanks,
Sobhan

Hi,
I have a quick question for you all. My wife is going for an interview on Aug 11th and I am wondering if she needs to take a copy of the I-864 document along with her?? I already submitted to NVC and it is accepted.
I am not sure if the folks at the embassy asked for that again?
Thanks!!!
-
Hi Hyd617, I am shocked to hear the news. I will definitely pray for you both. Hope everything goes fine.
She did not mention anything on why it is going to administrative processing? That is totally wierd.

Hi Everybody,
I have a question about the IV visa fee? I applied for CR1 and my wife have a scheduled interview on Aug 11th. When I browsed the chennai consulate website they mentioned about $400 immigration visa fee. I think I already paid NVC this fee. Am I right? Or I need to ask my wife to take a DD for $400 for the visa interview?
Thanks for the help,
Sobhan

Hi,
My wife's interview is on Aug 11th at chennai consulate. Thanks posting the instructions. That is very helpful.
One question I had is How do you get all the immunizations before you go to the medical test? Does the list need to include the immunizations for the once mentioned in the interview packet? Do we take a letter or something like that from the personal doctor?
Another question is they mentioned we need to take a DD for $400 for the interview? This is not the same as what we paid during the NVC process right? This is in addition to that?
Thanks,
Sobhan

Hi,
Are there any new specifications for the photos that beneficiary has to send with the DS230? I have the photos that I sent with my I-130 to the USCIS. Can I use the same photos or do they have different specifications?
Thanks.

I am receiving the following message when I use NVC automated message, "NVC received the documents and found some missing information and send a letter with what is missing". The last thing I did was I paid the DS-230 bill and before that I sent in 864 EZ. So I thought I got an RFE for 864 EZ.
I just talked to a NVC operator and she says everything is fine with the 864 and they are waiting for DS-230 info. Suprising this message comes up for a document that I did not send yet!!!!
-
How many months of Pay stubs do we need to send to NVC? I sent three years of tax returns with the latest W2 and also sent latest Pay Stub and I received a RFE. Please let me know.
Thanks

Exactly.... My wife also got her PCC last week with no problem from the Hyderabad passport office. Sometimes they can be real #######!!! Excuse my french.

I tried to pay the IV Bill today morning using online system with no luck. I entered all the information and then it comes back with an error while processing that the payment system is not available.
Try to pay after 4:30 pm eastern time and what error you are getting?
I just paid it. Looks like it is back up now. Thanks!!!!
-
yes. That is standard. I paid by AOS Bill before online and I just did my IV bill also online.

I just received an email from NVC. They accepted the email I sent for DS 3032. This is the email I received,
Dear Sir or Madam,
Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).
The NVC has received the Agent of Choice selection. The Immigrant Visa
Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated
agent on the case. The fee must be paid according to the instructions
before the instruction packet will be sent.
