If your name(s) are too long for the allotted number of characters, it will be truncated.  My one child has 35 letters in their name, so the middle names are inevitably always truncated and the MRIV was no exception - whole name eliminated in the viz and truncated on the mrz.  No issues entering, no issues receiving greencard.

Thank god, that’s a relief, In my VIZ 3 letters are gone and MRZ is perfect and complete. I’m relieved 🙏  thank you

If you have a middle name issued and it is only partial in the body of the visa, but is complete at the bottom .. don't worry on that.   There is limited spacing for names.

If if the name is misspelled it both locations on the visa contact the embassy

Hey, i have this same situation. The middle name is cut off/truncated ( 3 letters removed ) so it’s partially written and at the bottom it is written fully and correctly. Your comment calmed me down I was panicing

  3. Ok so today I received my U.S immigrant Visa. The surname is correct, first name is correct but the middle name was truncated ( last 3 letters ) in the VIZ “ Visual inspection Zone “.
In the MRZ “ Machine read Zone” the name is written fully without any truncation. Passport number is also correct as is everything else.
Is this normal? My son got his visa as well and his name wasn’t truncated I’m guessing because his name isn’t long like mine.

for Turkey the AP may be long

the post on CEAC may go back and forth from ready (ready is ready for interview) to interview scheduled to refused

poor data entry seems to be the norm for embassies imput

only when it says issued or denied will you have the news u need

I see, why do you believe AP in Turkey can be long?

It's a little too soon to panic.  If your visa is still not issued 1 month before the expiry date of your medical, that would be a good time to panic.

I just expected them to at least change the status from '' pending for missing documents '' to something more like AP or complete or ready, just to acknowledge  that they received the documents

  7. Hey so a month ago I was issued a 221g for missing documents, on September 13th I mailed the requested documents to the U.S Embassy alongside my Passport, and according to the postal tracking service, a day later ( September 14th ) the packet was delivered. and Today I checked the IV Status Check and it still says '' Pending for missing Documents ''

It has been 2 days since the documents were delivered, is this normal??? I'm panicking a little please help ❤️
