Ours is for divorce decrees which we included when we filed also. Did you get approved after the 5 days?

Hello everyone. Yesterday We uploaded our evidence in response to the RFE we received and the status changed right away to "Response to RFE request was received" with yesterday's date. Woke up this morning and there were 3 e-mails from USCIS stating " We took action on your case" I logged in the account but there is nothing changed and no new letters under the document tap. maybe it's a system glitch? anyone experienced same thing?

Hello everyone, after 15 months waiting for I130 for my stepdaughter they send a request for evidence to send divorce decrees for my wife’s and myself previous marriages. We already sent both divorce decrees with the petition when we filed. What should we do, send them again? why would they ask for them again? I’m so frustrated. Anyone one knows similar cases?

Hello, just little update on my case. I called USCIS and a nice lady told me that she sees an update says "Task changed" with yesterday date on it. She says she thinks it mean an officer is working on it. Not sure how long would it take to see updates.

it's so frustrating and upsetting. Submitted an expedite request over a month ago and nothing, requested a 2nd Tier call and nothing. we are going in to 15 months. seems like they delay cases from Middle east and Africa on purpose because I see cases from other countries that submitted after us getting approved even cases was filed this year.

I don't know what's going on with the service center but it's so frustrating. it's been over 14 months now and nothing. I submitted an expedite request over a months a go and still nothing.

I don't think your case outside normal process yet. our PD 08/26/2021 and on the USCIS site it tell us we can't submit an inquiry till after 11/27/22. what is your PD?

As far as security we both fine, petitioner and beneficiary so I don't know anymore.

Yeah that's what I've seen too and some beginning of August. but if a case is waiting for background check it don't matter what cases they working on now.

Also I submitted an expedite request on 9/27/2021 and it has been month and it's not even assigned to an officer yet. When I asked the agent today he said lately expedite requests are useless specially for I130. it's ridiculous

the background check is for both from what he told me but i think what's taking forever is the beneficiary check. they send it to the country where they at. who do they send it to ? I have no idea. The status changed to Actively reviewing the date the requested the back ground check and that's the last date they touched the case. yeah he told me they just wait and don't follow up.

Hello, I was able to speak to an agent today regarding my case and he told me they send a request for background check back on December 2021 and they haven't received a response yet which is ridiculous but that maybe explain why it's taking so long. I even ask him if they follow up and send another request and he said no they keep waiting for response. He told me some countries take a long time and he saw some cases took 2 years to get a response for background check :).
