    No, we don't have official documents. We wrote our own contract and share the boys. If they have a problem with one portion of it, do they reject you altogether? Or do they wait for documents to complete it? My 17 year-old will be ok with no dad though, right?

    Yes, I'm a US citizen and their dad is a UK citizen.

    Hi, I have a few questions regarding the appointment we have next week at the embassy in London. 1) I'm divorced so: a) do I still need to present the marriage certificate? Is the divorce court confirmation sufficient? b) My boys are 12 and 17. I'm very unsure as to whether their dad actually has to come as well to the appointment. It sounds like he does - could that be right? Thank you very much if you know either of these questions
