Got the appointment letter finally -) Should I feel happy that I got interview letter from consulate??? or Should I feel sad that I am unable to schedule appointment in their new site usvisascheduling.com???? usvisascheduling.com (new site for scheduling appointments), lists K1 under immigrant visa category instead of non-immigrant visa category so, the site expects barcode for DS-260 instead of DS-160 form now, one needs to go to usvisatraveldocs.com to fill DS-260 form But the site needs invoice id (provided by nvc) for DS-260 that I don't have. Now, to add fuel to the fire, the appointment letter that I received from consulate in mumbai instructs to fill a DS-160 because they treat K1 as non-immigrant visa So, should I fill barcode of DS-160 in the place of DS-260 while scheduling visa appointment? Please clear my confusion and help me to move forward. PS: I have sent many emails to mumbai consulate support and still have no response 😶

Good Evening yall, I have an approved K1 visa petition as of April 19th, 2023 with an expiry date of August 17th, 2023 Its been more than 60 days When I contact NVC, they haven't received my petition from USCIS when I submit an inquiry to USCIS, they ask me to wait patiently Its been already 20 months since I filed my petition How much more patiently should I wait? 😀 Please let me know my options here God bless

Hello there, I have applied for a K1 Fiance Visa to my fiance who has a 6 year old child as dependent My fiance is legally divorced. She also has a 6 year old child as dependent Child's has Indian passport that is valid and has both parents name. Child's father has agreed for the child to travel aboard. I would like to know what kind of additional document is needed for visa interview at the US consulate in India. Thanks for looking.
