da Bears..........opps wrong thread Seriously it is Super Bowl Sunday and my wonderful Chicago Bear's are playing tonight! Ok so if you don't like football, pop in for half-time to see Prince and Billy Joel perform. I will be on the couch wearing blue & orange cheering on my home team.

Just so you get a feel for the weather around here, the wind chill is -17 this morning. It is -2F. I have to go to work. Oh and one of the two furnace units is out at work. So when I get there it might be 62 and will warm up by the time I go home. The other morning I put on my gloves at my desk.

28-14 DA BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't been this hopped up since the '85 team! Chicagoland is just crazy this week! There is 'Wear da Bears' in workplaces, school-kids wore Bear gear to school Friday. The grocery stores are packed with party planners getting ready for the big game.

d 2 da oodle, I have a suggestion for you. Lay a warm damp towel over the spot for a few minutes to loosen. Then try to clean with a little white vinegar and water. Be sure to dry well. If there is a spot still, you might need to get it refinished, not an entire sand & stain, but a recoating. Another idea, try covering it with a nice area rug

I have had the same career for 12 years. I sell flooring to retail customers, commercial buildings and new construction houses. I not only help select the flooring, but also do the actual measure of the property for sizes and amounts. Because I online all the time, I am now training to use my laptop for commercial estimating. (my work thought I was really doing 'work' at my desk, i am really on vj ).

I love my job. I read somewhere, if you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life. I like it like that.

I love my job, I love my job. (trying to convince myself today!) I have to measure 3 houses today. Normally I would be happy about this. It is 8 degrees with a wind chill of -11. My problem is, these are empty new construction houses and NO HEAT! This for sure will be the fastest measures in history! It would usually take me 15 minutes in each one, today it will be like 5 min. This builder always makes the same house, so I pre-drew them and now just have to fill in the blanks. I won't even measure the closests, yea looks like 2'3" x 6' to me...........

Happy Thursday I am off today, yahoooooo! I have 2 houses to measure then I am free. Oh #######, I just realized something, the first house, someone lives in so the heat will be on. The second house is new construction and NO HEAT! (Chicago is like 10 degrees this morning!) It might be the fastest measure in history.

Mohammed took my son-in-law to look at a new car last night while Jessica and Lexy visited with me. We had so much fun. We made pancakes (lexy's favorite) and tea. The guys came home with a 2007 Altima.

foot is sore, my dilema today is trying to get used to bifocals. I can see good out the top, but everything from waist down is a blur. sux getting old, my advice, don't do it.

Going into quick care would entail shaving legs and painting toes. I'm thinking about it. I do have insurance, have never used it.

wow ice is cold. I feel so dumb. I've never hurt an ankle before. Or maybe it is my foot. It's darkest on the top of my foot between the ankle bone and toes. So now my diagnosis is hurt foot. Mohammed is at work. I have 3 hours til I leave for work. Dayum it is my right foot and that is the one I need to drive.

I think I sprained my ankle I am shaking and feeling shock at that pain. It is turning all kinds of colors, there is some blue, some purple.

I was sitting on the couch with my legs crossed under me. The phone rang and I had to run to the kitchen to get it. Well, my foot had fallen asleep and when I went to put my weight on it, it gave away. Dummy me gets up and tries it again and falls to the floor for the second time. At this point I am crawling to the kitchen and gave up. (it was just work calling me to say I was 6 feet short on a carpet job, not brain surgery, take out what you need I will do the paperwork later.)

So here I sit, foot on the coffee table watching it throb and swell. Any suggestions?

And I imagine that staying 'illegal' would be bad when they filied at AOS. Well, it's not looking good for them. I was hoping to hear that if they filed I130 before her expiration, she could stay while waiting.

Thank you for responding. Can he file I130 and her wait here for approval? Or do you think she has to leave in February?

Thanks for your responses. He has 2 years before he can apply for citizenship.

Can he file the I130 along with AOS and her stay while waiting? Because the 539 is to change to a non immig status, I'm thinking the I130 would be how to change to an immig status. I emailed USCIS and will try calling them today.

Hi. Looking for advice for a friend. Thanks in advance for your help.

Woman enters on a B1 visa. She marries a man here that has a 10yr gc. (was petitioned by his sister) Can he file the I130 and she wait here for approval then do AOS? Her B1 expires in Feb (I don't know why they waited so long). She can't file the 539 to extend her B1 because she would no longer be a non-immig.

Is it necessary for her to return to her country and wait out the I130, or can she stay here? I have read so much my head is spinning.

If they file the I30,,,her B1 will expire while they wait and she will be out of status for a year. I don't know what to tell them and they think I'm an expert at this. I guess I will call the information line. I'm sooooooooooo confused. If they file the I130 can she stay while waiting? I've been searching all night for answers.
