  1. My ex-husband, from Jordan, was arrested twice in America for sex crimes. Once in Florida with a minor, which the authorities became involved. Once in Georgia where he was arrested for criminal sexual battery and plead GUILTY. Once I found out about all this chaos he was causing, I contacted ICE, DHS, and eventually met with the FBI.

Let's skip to the bottom line, he's still here, owning 2 businesses and no one is interested in deporting him (well, except me..lol). He pays his employees cash under the table and send thousands of dollars back to Jordan. Seems the IRS isn't interested in him either.

Moral of my pathetic story, once they have the greencard, its not easy to have it taken away.

    To those I haven't seen in awhile...HI :)

  2. June already??? Dang this year is flying by!

My daughter was in the hospital again today. We were trying to count the number of times she has been in the ER. At least 5 times and admitted twice. Praying that she will be healed and all better soon. She has been off work since Feb. Hopefully she can go back to work in July. Todays visit~ she had morphine and a catheter and a $12,000 cat scan (thank god for insurance cuz she has had 2 of these in the last month) Seems after the hysterectomy her bladder is not adjusting well. Thank you for all the messages and prayers offered. My VJ friends are most awesome and we appreciate it.

  3. Hi Kat.

*spoiler alert........at the end of the book, Anastasia reached a limit and it was a limit I related to on a very personal level. She could of used the safe word, but didn't. I imagine it was shock and pain that kept her from stopping him.

It makes me uneasy that this book is romanticizing and glamourizing the BDSM lifestyle. It did give me insight to what could make a man need to inflict pain to acheive pleasure.

  4. Thanks Julianna. She has had years of female issues. First surgery was an exploratory in Feb. Then a partial hysterectomy in March and last week she had an abdominal hysterectomy. She's only 35 and now she has to accept that Lexy will be their only child. Her health should start to improve soon. She should be cleared to go back to work in July.

  5. Hi y'all, I read posts once in a while. I don't have a reason to use the site anymore, but it's nice to see updates from old-timers as their husbands obtain citizenship and all the new baby updates.

My update~~ I left my 16 year sales career last year to persue other things, never been happier! No more stress of goals and deadlines.

I live with my daughter and her husband (and Lexy!). I have my own apartment, I call it the 'grandma' wing of the house. I work full time at a meaningless job (by choice, I will go back to sales one of these days).

My daughter had 3 surgeries this year. We hope and pray she will be all better soon. Alexis was just promoted to 4th grade! Her gpa is 3.75 and she is 9 years old now (going on 13..lol)

Thx for asking about me

  6. I had my first weigh-in and measurments at the gym yesterday..........................I LOST 6 pounds and a few inches!   Celebrated by tanning and burnt my armpits...ouch! I have to watch my cravings, every time a fast food place has a new menu item I feel its my duty to try it

    Hope ya'lls have a great weekend !

  7. My first recorded time on the treadmill for my 5k training..... 54 minutes 17 seconds. My biggest fear, a 70 year old man is gonna go zooming past me...lol. I'm going back tomorrow and see if I can get a better time.

  8. No special weekend plans~ I work midnight shift on Sat/Sun so I will either be working, sleeping or thinking about sleeping  Finally got over a week of bronchitis/flu...dang that sucked! I had the flu shot for the last 5 years and never a sniffle. The first year I miss it and BAM I had to miss a week of work and I barely got off the couch. I have 3 prescriptions, and antibiotic, an inhaler and a cough syrup with codeine (now that was good stuff there!)

My daughter had surgery on Feb 28th and will have another on March 30. I hope after this one she willl be back to good health. It's so hard to see your child suffer and in pain.

Well I should get off the computer and get to the gym. I am in training for my first 5k this year (it's on my bucket list and my bucket isn't getting any younger..lol) Hope ya'll have a great weekend !
